I was puzzling over the gift giving for my family this year. I try to do something different each year.
One year it was BBW stuff for everyone, another family gifts, another was silly things that I found on clearance to stockpile during the whole year.
Last year I brought a bunch of small gifts and we did the dice game, everyone walked away with something... parents switched gifts with their kids, my dad gave his candy to the grandsons as he is diabetic... Had a little war going on between my Dad and my BIL over the last gift, swiping it back and forth a few rounds

A few years ago they had this fantabulous printable coupon for free item form Aromatherapy line with ANY purchase. Got tons of body wash and lotions, for a dollar or less each. (Used it with the sale they typicaly have on gycerine bar soaps)

I'm watching the news, and it's been a bit windy today. Apparently tomorrow there is supposed to be another big windstorm, like last month's. Looks like the highest winds will be north of us, though.

As much damage as the Santa Annas were to other areas.. I kinda liked it when they were blowing. They didn't get to bad here, it made it cooler and a bit of a rushing wind.. but not like the desert areas with dust storms.
It doesn't get very windy here usually, feels good to have the wind whistle about and tousle the hair.

It's raining, it's pouring, but noooo, I'm not snoring...

Just a quickie before we dash off to DS3's class. Hope you all had a restful night! I'm surprised no one else has popped in yet this morning. Doesn't anyone else's kiddos have the day off from school?

Gonna be a busy day for me with both little monsters on the loose, but I'll stop by when I can.

man, what a wild weekend...

i didnt get my interview yesterday since the manager was at DL instead of DCA... i know it... So i got ADO instead...

went home, had a few drinks with co worker... and then had some more fuuuuun

NO KIDS FOR PIXSTER!!


My little sister has the day off I believe. Lucky! I wish I didn't have to work today. I wonder if yesterday or today will be busy at DL.

It rained yesterday a few times on and off. Now it's all sunny and windy today.

I woke up early and had about 30 minutes to kill before going to work. I stopped by Corner Bakery to get breakfast and it was closed! They don't open until 8 am.

I went to Mc Donald's and got hotcakes and sausage but the hotcakes were cold!

Get this: DH put Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on this afternoon for the kids. I made some noise about it being inappropriate for DS3, and DH said, "Who are you kidding? He loves it, it's DS7 that thinks it's too scary!"

Oooh, that's my favorite out of the whole series. Sirius Black is my favorite character!

We went to Target this morning... Dh got to see what it is really like to take the kids to the store! HOWEVER... The have plus sized jeans for little girls at target!!!! I was so shocked, and excited!!! AND they were only $9.99. What a freakin deal. I got her 2 pairs of pants, and 2 tops. not to shabby, if I do say so myself. I also got 2 mini Christmas trees, and some cheap ornaments, and tinsel, and lights... If my sis ends up going, then I will get her a tree too. But I think I have some good stuff for now, I am going to get everyone a set of Disney ornaments for there trees... Now I get to figure on what to do for everyone for christmas presents...

I'm going to try to take a day off early December. I need a day at DL to just relieve stress and have some fun!
