Hey... did you see the new Juicy Couture store that opened down there? I saw it on TMZ, and thought of you!

It's always hard to leave something behind. I get a bit sad every time we get a new vehicle and need to let the old one go. Well, not so much the first piece of... metal I drove. But I've only had 2 other cars since, and soon we'll be selling/trading in the Accord for a RAV4. It was my first brand-new car ever!

And I was sad when we sold the first home we'd owned. It had a decent-sized backyard, we'd just put a big playset in the year before, and this was the house where both boys came home from the hospital.

And it looked so nice! Between the two boys the carpet was pretty well trashed (spilled food and drink of every color it seems), and our little home steam cleaner just couldnt' get that out. Our realtor hired a professional carpet cleaner, and MAN, they rock! It looked better than it did when we moved in 10 years before!

Really? Are you feeding into my Juicy addiction? There is a Juicy Couture outlet in Camarillo (not far from me). I've been there twice but their stuff is not that great. I went to Nordstrom yesterday and they are having a huge end of the year sale. I got 2 Juicy necklaces. They had some purses on sale for the new fall line but they looked really weird!

DH just called in between meetings. It's another busy day, but I think not as stressful as yesterday's meetings were. I'm going to bake his favorite cake today (yellow cake with chocolate frosting) as a treat for surviving this week!

OMG.... Dh brought his friend home from work this morning...He walked in the room, and let me know that Micky was there, "so dont walk out to the living room in my undies!" I was like , GREAT!!! I had to get Alex a check for lunch, and make sure his homework was in his backpack... So I stagger out to the living room, my hair a MESS... and do everything... Oy!! Why couldnt he call me before he brought the guy home!

OMG.... Dh brought his friend home from work this morning...He walked in the room, and let me know that Micky was there, "so dont walk out to the living room in my undies!" I was like , GREAT!!! I had to get Alex a check for lunch, and make sure his homework was in his backpack... So I stagger out to the living room, my hair a MESS... and do everything... Oy!! Why couldnt he call me before he brought the guy home!

OUCH! I'd really hate that! I do not wake instantly happy and ready for entertaining.

Dinner's at 6:00! Though I have no idea what we're having yet... Oh, yes I do! We've got leftover meatloaf to eat up. And I bought sweet potatoes this morning. Now just need to figure out how to prepare them...

I always figured people said "don't go to the grocery store hungry" because you wind up buying all kinds of yummy, fatty things. Or at least that's what usually happens with me. But today I bought the sweet potatoes, it just sounded SOOOO GOOD!
