MAN, I am starving! I'm gonna go forage for something that will go with the dill pickle I'm also going to grab. (Is that weird to plan a meal around a pickle? )

Have you seen that Little Rascals movie that came out in the early 90's? They had 2 kids who sang: "I got a pickle! I got a pickle! I got a pickle hey hey hey hey!" Now that's stuck in my head!

Don't feel bad, the other night I was starving and I took some turkey pastrami and rolled it with pepperjack cheese.

I love that movie! I should buy the DVD. It cracks me up! We're the he-man women haters club! I like Stimey and Uh-Huh. Especially when the banker says: "If you were my kids I'd punish you!" Then Stime says: "If we were your kids we'd punish ourselves!"

I have a photo of my girlfriend's 1yo (or had he just turned 2?), standing with one hand tucked in the top of his diaper, and the other thumb in his mouth. He's a little butterball of a baby, short and round, and it's sooo cute!

ok, why is it that the one weekend that I WANT it to be warm.. and it's only 60 degrees out?

MIL and BIL are on their way here.. to not so Sunny California, more like Hazy Cold California. I had to dig thru the closet to find jeans and a sweater... brrrrrr.

oh well, maybe there will be less people at DL Friday. Time to dig out my DL jacket (red with Minnie on the back , they were sold out of Tinkerbell I wanted when I bought it a few years ago--- also a cold Veteran's weekend) .

Hope the inlaws brought warm clothes.. at least it's slightly warmer than their home (WI).

My sis emailed that they had snow on the weekend. Just a bit of snow crystals in the air, cold 30's ----- I don't miss that at all.


I cleaned, straightened, laundered, shopped , packed lunches for Friday..... and many other little chores this week.

Hubby gave me roses on Thursday for our anniversary I helped him correct stacks and stacks of papers while he fell asleep on the couch. An odd way to celebrate 15 years of marriage.

FunnyG- Happy Belated Anniversary!! I'm sorry you had to spend it grading papers. That's cool that you got roses! My bf doesn't give me flowers often because he knows it will die quickly. I love flowers but unfortunately I am no botanist and I suck at keeping plants and flowers alive for a long period of time.

BTW- I'm still at work!! I had sooo much to do this week, it's been quite stressful. Oh and I got a call from my dental office a while ago...apparently I was "mis-quoted" and the correct cost is going to be more than $588 for a freakin crown!! They don't send you a bill either, they make you pay upfront.

wow! happy belated anniversary to you ! i am sorry that you just corrected papers .

It is only about 110 Degrees for me i have a fever ..

aww you sick misty? Im sorry...drink some cold juice or sprite or something...I'm cold man...its freezing....but that could be because im barefoot and no pants on...just sitting here in a tshirt and I just drank a huge glass of ice water...duh but on a good note...Im making a pumpkin pie and it smells heavenly in here...first one of the season and I think I want to make a pumpkin bread ....ooh with caramel oooh yeah!!!

Sounds tasty Lynn!! I made blondies... Nothing special, but I only had 1 egg... and wanted something yummy, so thats what I made with what I had on hand..

Pix - I also use Cetaphil on my face. It works good for any type of skin and is very gentle. A lot of the pharmacies sell a generic Cetaphil for a lot less. IMO it's just about as good.

Staley - never complain about DH bringing home people and your hair is a mess. How would you like to go running to grab a fake breast everytime someone pulls in the driveway!

I must be having a Whip & Spear craving! I got a bag of frozen pineapple and blended it with Dole Pineapple juice! It's pretty yummy! Kind of a real pineappley smoothie! Plus I figure it's better for me than those Oreo's I was eyeing!
