I'm gonna go too. I'm wrapping presents. I went shopping again awhile ago. I got a foot massager and warmer for one of my grandmothers. I hope they like it. It was $14.96 at Walmart They also sell a back massager for $14.92. Cool bargain!

I got some lunch bags that have christmas print on it. It was 5 for $1 at walmart. Earlier this month I bought some small lotions from Bath & Body Works to give to my co-workers. I'm putting them inside the bags and I punched two holes on the front and tied a ribbon through it. I put the gift tag sticker on the front and I'm sticking a small candy cane through the ribbon. I hope they like it.

I'm guessing he's going to be in this episode. In the beginning they did a little reminder flashback to a previous episode where he was talking with Johnson about some evidence (I think on a serial killer.) I would think that means this episode will continue that storyline.

Did you see her belly when she got out of the car? I was surprised it was that big! Seems like she just figured out she was pregnant a few weeks ago.

Elena asked her about the father, and she said she didn't want to talk about it, so Elena let it drop. I think she's supposed to have had an affair years ago with Malone (that may or may not have ended his marriage), but hasn't she been sleeping with Martin recently?

yeah.. a long time ago it was Malone, and then Martin. I wonder... but I guess that is kinda the point!

I just ate a chocolate chip cookie, with no chocolate chips!

When I lived at home and my mom would bake chocolate chip cookies I would have her make me a few with no chips!

GOOD MORNING HYENA'S!!!! We should get snow anytime now...too bad we are supposed to drive to Phoenix for a Christmas party - but could get 7 inches of snow...not sure what the new game plan will be

There was one of those debate threads about 'gifted' students here recently. (Actually, there have been several.) But the OP was saying she didn't want her child participating in the gifted program, that it just meant more homework, and the kids selected she didn't feel were gifted, just the brighter ones in the class. Basically what you are saying.

And she said it didn't give the kids an edge as far as getting into college, so she thought it was a waste of time.

I LOVED the gifted program . At our school, the assumption was that those in the gifted program were already above the work being assigned, so we had hardly any homework, got to go on cool field trips, and basically could get away with anything from anyone at the school because we were special
