Chillin like a villain, yo! Had Alex's parent teacher conference yesterday.... today we just kinda hung around the house cleaning and what not. Hows about you?

Just worked today. Had the conferences yesterday. Boy they sure are making teachers young these days! I'm old enough I could have been the mother of most of DD's teachers! I know I'm not getting older, so they must just be letting them teach at a younger age! It was kind of a yucky rainy day here today. But tomorrow is supposed to be nice again. Saturday we are packing a lunch and going up to DH's elk camp to get things set up. He's up near Mt. St. Helens.

Very cool! Frelan has been wanting to go hunting for a while... He dreams about getting an elk! He used to go before we met, but then stopped because we had so much other stuff going on. Now him and a guy he works with are going to go bow hunting... Should be fun, since he has never done anything like that before!

Every night around 9 or 9:30 a truck with a huge horse trailer goes up our road. Not a small horse trailer for 2-4 horse, but a huge one! It goes somewhere for about 10 minutes then comes down, but turns and goes up the hill. STRANGE!! Do you suppose one of those people that live up in the McMansions have a Horse that goes to Horsey Day Care or something and they are just dropping it off??

Yes, it's one of those new fangled machines that you stop at to get money when the bank is closed. But I don't think I could drink one, it probably wouldn't go down my throat as smooth as say Whiskey or some other old fashioned alcoholic beverage.

I enjoy spending time in a pool at a hotel... Hiking in the woods maybe... but I dont like camping, hunting is something I dont have a desire to do.

Oh but you haven't gone camping with me. I have indoor plumbing, microwave, tv w/vcr, queen size bed with electric blanket. I sit underneath my awning bbqing my steak, watching a movie while sitting in my lawn chair - watching all the other people that have tents run for shelter when it starts pouring rain! There is no need to rough it when you go camping!

Oh and another important thing I have discovered. Most all towns have pizza delivery right to the campgrounds! Always do your homework before going camping and find out where the nearest chinese food take out or pizza delivery place is. Who knew all you had to do was call Domino's and tell them your at the State Park, Space #27!

Lynn is officially at the house of mouse with Andrea and her kids. Apparently the park was pretty calm today so they didn't have crowds to deal with.
