Nevermind...I just went to the website for the mall.

Wet, Wild and Wonderful! You won't believe it until you see this amazing five acre indoor waterpark. Enjoy the tropical 30C (86F) temperature, more than 20 different water activities, miles of waterslides, bungy jumping for those who dare, hot tubs, and a fun-filled interactive play area for toddlers and parents to enjoy together, called "The Little Caribbean". Hours of fun are waiting for you in the world's largest indoor wave pool, where the weather is great every day of the year!

Morning to those of the Hyena persuasion!:cool1:

How is going. Its getting a little "burnt" smell in the air again, as the winds shifted. My job today is to begin cleanin the soot and ash from the room and trees, and cleaning the air filters again!.

The pictures of that mall are cool. We gotta visit that one!!

Later......pirate:

Morning Hyenas!

Morgan was worried and cried going to the new studio for her once a week class last night. I reminded her that she LOVED it there. She had apparently forgotten

Anyway, we get there and she had a blast. Everything is so positive there!

I have to get busy on the floor again today. We hadnt done anything since Sunday because we had too much going on! I'm ready for my house to be put back together!

How is everyone doing? I am trying to keep up!

SHAWNA!!

Glad to hear your DD enjoyed the new studio! :thumbsup2 I hope your floors get finished soon! :goodvibes

That sucks you have a hangover. I don't like alcohol and I never drink. I know it's an aquired taste but I just never liked the taste of beer, wine, etc. I tried a rasberry cordial once (like in Anne of Green Gables) and it tasted really good. I guess I have the same beverage preferences as an 80 year old granny! :rotfl:

CHRISTINA!! Those pictures are awesome! I like the one of the hockey rink :thumbsup2 Did you and your DH move into a new place yet? :confused3

I hope you hyenas are having a good day. I'm super stressed today. I should give one of my customers the "Headache Award" and have the trophy as a giant bottle of extra strength tylenol! :sad2:

haha, i might try a vodka today... was told it suppose to taste good...
but im still tolerated the taste... takes time to get use to it.

smells is kinda bad here still... i dont know if i want to spend a day at Disneyland under this condition when i know full well i have to be there for 8 hours working in the terrible condition... :|

Just pretend you're working at Epcot in the giant golf ball!!:lmao: They have that really boring ride that has cavemen and smoke smell in it.

A few nights ago we had buffalo burgers. I think they tasted better than ground beef.

Yew, beer is yucky! I like my drinks to be fruity!

I like my men to be fruity!:lmao:

So you haven't opened your window at home for a few days, your home probably smells like a locker room, you've been drinking, probably have horrible hangover morning breath. And yet you're complaining about having to work outside at DL because of the smoke smell?:thumbsup2 :lmao: :lmao:

Today is my every 6 month checkup with my oncologist (chemo/cancer doctor). I just hate going there. I even get near that office and it reminds me of chemo and I feel like throwing up! Then I have to sit in a waiting room full of people that are dying. I know I should be happy to be alive, but still it's just a reminder that cancer is in my life forever! Actually all I have to do is drive down that stretch of I-5 and I feel nauseated. Of course I do always laugh when I pass the Hooters Restaurant on the way there. Anyone up for lunch at Hooter!:lmao:

Albort... I have some Everclear if you are looking for a good stiff drink!:lmao: :lmao: But if you are new to drinking, it might kill you! I am partial to margaritas... Yum! The traditional ones... I cant hang with the strawberry ones. Yech!

:guilty: Im sorry Alison! But I will join you for lunch... Nothing like some hot wings and booobies!:thumbsup2 :lmao:

One of my customers is the ultimate pain in the rump! They were asking us to expedite their orders and we were able to. Then they said they don't have a freight forwarder overseas. You work for a large company and you don't have a freight forwarder?? :confused3

They even sent me a routing guide with a list of freight forwarders and they said we can't use any of them. What's the point of sending it again??

They want us to ship everything by Fedex but the problem is that I have to calculate how to split them all without breaking the carton (X pieces per carton). That and it can't exceed 200 KGS per day. Normally we only ship once per week and they are all drop shipments.

*headache, headache, headache*

I'm watching Dinner Impossible on the food network. It's funny because he's at the Mall of America trying to find cooking utensils and food. He can't use any type of grills or fryers because he has to cook inside the mall.

Forgot to mention that Bernice would be sad to know she missed this show. That is her old stomping grounds!!! :sad2:

oooooooooo that would be fun to watch. Yep, my fave mall. Haven't found one that I like here too much yet.

We did like exploring the Galleria at Tyler (reminds us of Rosedale, middle to high income suburbia) , the mall here in MV reminded us of Southdale (first enclosed mall in the US!). The Block at Orange is kinda fun, very odd to us. And we tried the Ontario Mills outlet mall, it didn't feel like an outlet mall (outlets are strip malls in MN) but I like the Sears outlet store there-- cheap!!

I've never been to the Mall of America. That would be awesome :) I heard they have roller coasters inside :yay:

Yep! One goes thru the entire park. They also have a tiny circle one for kiddos, my boys first rollercoaster! And the Timberland Twister which is like a mad mouse ride but the ride vehicle spins like a tea cup. They have Mystery Mine Ride.. similar to Star Tours, they change the movie a few times a year. When it was run by Camp Snoopy they had fireworks inside for New Year's Eve.. fun to watch.

Yeah, well it's the largest mall in the world. There is one in China that was the biggest for awhile and then West Edmonton expanded and now they're the biggest again. I used to work in the mall and it's doesn't seem that big when you're in it everyday but after I hadn't worked there for a few years and I went back that mall is HUGE! It's a little silly actually. But it has everything. It even has a huge skating rink in the middle of it lol.

And I would love to go there!
I know during the development stage they considered buidiling a water park/beach at Mall of America. But they were afraid people would use that and not go to stores.

I watched last night and got a real kick out of it. Only problem is, i fell asleep towards the end of the show. How did everything turn out? Was there enough food for everyone?
That mall is unbelievable. I told my husband we should take a 2 day trip with the kids just to stay there and see the mall.

Lots of fun stuff to see in Twin Cities!! Tons of Museums, theater district (they try out the Disney shows in MN before touring), river boat rides, parks. And if the weather is cruddy, never fear, you can walk most of downtown over the streets in the skyway system.
From the airport you can take the metro train to Mall of America, downtown, Midtown. Easy to use, clean, safe.
If you want to see more than just the Mall or downtown you would need a car. Someday they will make the train go out further-- they hope to build a line to parallel the 35W bridge that collapsed.

Speaking of the bridge, they still have not approved funding for it yet, my sis said it's hard to navigate from NE metro to the airport. Longer route or using crowded surface streets.
