That's terrible! I hope they are able to contain the fires soon. There are some here in Los Angeles and the air is very unpleasant to breathe in. :scared:

My sister lives in La Jolla. :)

The smoke is unpleasant. but not much we can do about it. Reminds me of camping, just more ash than I remember!!

I've only had the dinner buffet at Goofy's. I think it's really good and the selection is awesome. I've never had their breakfast before.

Dinner was definitely yummy there! The other place we really liked was Story tellers for dinner... YUMMY!!! They didnt have much a selection, but all the food was top notch! Too bad THATS not a character meal. :lmao:

We have done Goofys for breakfast, and dinner. We really liked dinner there, and thought it was tons better then the breakfast. But that could be because neither dh or I like breakfast food much. :scared:
We've done dinner there twice, so I really don't know about breakfast. We're not big breakfast eaters, either. The day we did Minnie & Friends I scheduled the PS for 10:30, I think it was, and then we skipped lunch that day. The day we did Storytellers was early (7:30, I think) in hopes of getting to the park at opening. We were able to order off the menu for Storytellers, which probably saved us a bunch. But DS7 ordered a bowl of cereal ($7 or $8), and then he was still hungry, so we paid like $16 for two small, stupid bowls of Frosted Flakes.

 Oh my goodness... That is ridiculous!

It's definitely unpleasant. My boyfried and I went out for lunch and the restaraunt is located on a hill (just above the freeways). It was extremley windy there and the smell of smoke was VERY strong.

 $16 for cereal?!! That's awful! You might as well have eaten at Whitewater Snacks and bought cereal there. :confused3

Yeah, the first bowl came out already poured into the bowl, but the 2nd bowl, of course, they had to pour into his existing bowl. It was one of those little serving size boxes of Frosted Flakes! (You know how TINY those things are???) Oy... I wonder what those things cost apiece in the store.

I dont know how much they are a piece, but you can buy a 10 pack for like $3.00.

They usually come in variety packs in the markets, but they do sell them individually in Target and convenience stores. I've seen them for about 99 cents each. $7-8 is just extortion. :faint:

Ugh, that makes me sick! Ah, well. I think the buffet (child price) was like $17 or $18 anyway, so he hate what he wanted and we saved buck or two. We saved a LOT on the adult price, since DH and I just got pancakes and I think they were like $12.

I miss my Mickey pancake :( I think Riverbelle was the only place that had it.

I was going to say that I knew I had seen them before... it was at Goofys Kitchen for breakfast..:sad2: :lmao:

Okay... it has been a stressful day, so I am going to try to get some sleep.:headache:

Wow, time flies... Time for bed.

The news is currently showing photos of the wildfires in So Cal. Scary business!
