Hey everyone!! I let Alex stay up ate tonight to watch Twitches 2. Very cute! He in now in bed, and most likely going to be a real bear tomorrow. Ah well... I went grocery shopping tonite, fun, fun fun! Mikalah hasnt been feeling so well today, she had a bit of a fever this morning... and fell asleep at 6:30, all on her own.

By the way, what the heck is with the huge crowd on Friday night (Oct. 12)??? We re-entered the park in the evening and it took us forever to walk up Main St. and through Adventureland to Critter Country! All the lines for the rides were the longest I've ever seen, so we just kept passing them and moving on to something else; I think we finally did wait in line for Buzz or Pirates, then called it a night.

DH heard a CM say the crowd was as heavy as what they see at Christmas!

Thursday was nothing in comparison to Friday, trust me! You know how it's hard to move around in the crowd right after a parade or the fireworks? It was like that, only everywhere, and all night! It was insane, and we couldn't wait to get out of there!

well could it also be because of MHT??? all the fridays are sold out and it is the beginning of the weekend....glad to see you back alex and well sorry to say but I had to disperse with the security because they had prior engagements and couldnt stay long enough to let you into the secret bathroom...next time I get you clearance you better make sure you utilize it missy!!

Now you know why I had to laugh when Lynn asked me if I put lights on the trees in my yard at Christmas! Yeah right, anyone have a crane? The inflatable Shrek is about 8 feet tall. I thought I did a rather good job, considering that I'm not very artsy, craftsy!

So here's a lovely photo of the Irwin Estate as viewed from the lower front yard (aka septic drainfield). It was a pretty sunny fall day out so I was walking around taking pictures after I finished the graveyard!

How was your weekend? I read your post of how DL was crowded.

Saturday we hunted down Panera's and Trader Joe's in Riverside..we were in luck, they are in the same shopping complex with a Chipotle, Border's and a few other fun places that we have missed since moving here.

The Trader Joe's was uber busy.

I was trying to get his input on a few things, they have tamales and I wanted to know how much we paid in MN for them, instead I talked to the air (he was right behind me.. "where the heck did he go??").

Hubby wasn't interested in looking .. or buying anything... he whined "it's too small", stood in one spot and pulled his ever present sudoku game from the newspaper---- his way of telling us that he's bored. Tunes us all out.

grrrrrr, I was peeved.

What was the point of going in the store, if he wasn't even going to check it out???

How cute!! I think that Mikalah is finally getting old enough to "get" what DL is. (she's 2 and a half) Since we get back, whenever I ask her what she wants to do, she says.... Didneywand. Thats my girl! From the time Alex could talk, he would watch the commercials for DL and ask if we could go... When we finally could take him, he was SOOO excited!
