I tracked the shipment for the fruit leather I bought a few days ago. They accidentally shipped it by ground instead of by 2-day air. Called them this afternoon and they said that they apologize for the mistake and that they would either credit me the difference or send out a free box overnight! I chose the box because it's worth more than the shipping difference.

Hi Guys!!
I went to a garden club meeting today with my Mom, and I learned how to arrange flowers the Tuscan way. Basically you can add anything from your kitchen, to your garden. About 5 different kinds of arrangements. Now I am inspired to give it a try before I forget!

I also went to our brand new Super Target today. Supposed to be one of the biggest ones in California. Go figure? Anywhos's it has Starbucks, a deli, and bakery in it, besides groceries. But you know what?????????? It doesn't have a garden center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can they do that??? So I asked the checker,and she said I was at least the 10th person today that has complained to her. So I decided to talk to the manager and give her my two cents. I was nice mind you.................... I just wanted to let them know how dissapointed I was. So she proceeds to tell me that this is the new direction Target is going to. Blah, blah, blah!!! Now for maybe you folks who don't give a rip, that's OK...................but now I have to go all the way to Visalia (12miles- ) to get my Target garden fix!!

Well ....seeing as nobody else is posting...I'll just keep on rolling along. Well Target does have some cool groceries. So I bought some gnocchi (Italian potatoe pasta for those of you who don't know what it is.) I then looked up a recipe on The Food Network and decided to give Mario Malto a try. Yum !Thet sauce smells good. It's just a good old red sauce, with fresh herbs from my garden, and red pepper flakes. Right before serving you add little cubes of mozzarella cheese to the sauce and add the gnocchi. Oh and I kicked it up with some cooked chicken too. Can't wait to try it.

Wow, I should have got on the DIS last night, I was wide awake. We had a pack of coyotes in our yard howling in the middle of the night. They woke me up and I started flashing the outside lights, that shut them up for a couple of minutes. Then they started back in again, so I went opened the door and yelled at them. Again, quiet for a few minutes. Finally I had to go outside and jump up and down on the front porch, rattle a couple of patio chairs and start hollering at them. They finally left. I hate listening to them, they sound like a bunch of creepy, scary warewolves or something!!

Staley, I'm really sorry I missed you. We were there on Sunday. Dizzy said you were leaving that day.

My dh was rude (I thought) when I ran into Alex. He didnt talk much and looked at me like Lets go. Thing is all day we decided we were not going to sit and watch the fireworks or Fantasmic because we have seen them both so many times and we wanted to get on ALL rides. Well, he changed his mind at the VERY last minute when they announced 5 minutes left for fireworks but he didnt tell me this. This is when I saw Alex! He was anxious to get to the fireworks. He apologized later for it but I was like man you are so nice WTH??? We raced back and saw them from Small World. I really like the projections they have from back there!!!

I'm thinking a Ladies Only trip!!

Does this mean when we place our order for a churro we will speak into a little box that is connected to Indonesia? There will be a lady that barely speaks English and she will not have a clue what we are talking about. When we ask for an extra napkin we will have to get transferred to another department. We will then get cut off and hear a dial tone. We will have to call back and ask for a supervisor, who really isn't a supervisor and will insist that churros don't exist?

Another question?? Do you know all of those words by heart to those songs??? Geesh!

Another comment: I think sometimes our DH's get weird when they are uncomfortable. I agree with you so much. I think Dave is the nicest guy there is......................but then sometimes he can be soooooooo different if put in a situation where he's not sure what to do. And of course, we all know each other pretty well, but they don't. But I get your drift. Remember Staley had that same thing happen to her, and I think maybe Alison too the first time. OK..............I'm rambling here. Just wanted to let you know, not to feel bad!

yeah we have a garden center too...maybe its a cali thing ive bought my christmas tree from them a couple of times...I never seem to find a good tree at the same place ....its always different year after year...

Hey Grumpy Pirate! How's it going?? Just wanted to point out that you can only live on the Left Coast if you are standing Northward in the US. If you happen to be standing Southward then you would live on the Right Coast! How do we actually know the earth is the way they show it on the globe? Maybe we are looking at it upside down!
