Hey Grumpy Pirate! How's it going?? Just wanted to point out that you can only live on the Left Coast if you are standing Northward in the US. If you happen to be standing Southward then you would live on the Right Coast! How do we actually know the earth is the way they show it on the globe? Maybe we are looking at it upside down!
you're confusing me too alison...stop it!!yeah we have a garden center too...maybe its a cali thingive bought my christmas tree from them a couple of times...I never seem to find a good tree at the same place ....its always different year after year...
All I have to do is look out my windows and I see nothing but fir trees everywhere. We used to always have a real one, but the fake one is so much easier to take care of!
I guess I could go out in the yard & cut one down if I wanted to, but they are just so darned messy. Besides, I think they look really pretty growing outside.
I have a fake tree. It has lots of pretty colorful lights already on it and spins around. Which can be kind of bad because I have no place to hide the ugly ornaments!
We have tons of Xmas tree farms around here. They actually start cutting them and shipping them to California around the first of September (really fresh!).

I have some small trees, but the majority of my trees are about 6 stories tall, old growth and 2nd growth fir! We had to cut a couple of them down to widen & pave our road a couple of years ago. We counted the rings, one of them was 118 years old and the other was 89. We just usually put lights on the house. Plus I has some of the giant inflatable things and a train that lights up. Those inflatables look big in a regular yard, but when you put them in ours, they just look like miniatures! I'm wiath you Lynn! Where are we???
Venutians have a hard time understanding Martians. But then again Funny G & I are Uranusians, so I'm surprised you can understand me at all!
Speaking of which, we have a Halloween Shrek inflatable that we need to put up this weekend! I put my inside decor up, but haven't done anything outside yet.

I am frequently upside down, except from my prespective, ALL of you are upside down and I am leftside up, right? (Huh?)
Did you every see the West Wing episode where the staff was taking meetings with the "nut" cases? and one group of science professors wanted to change the mercater (sp?) map to a more correct one that didn't change the relative sizes of the various land masses? (I didn't think so....)

I was very impressed with how much he has learned in such a short time. 
But that sounds GREAT!!I also went to our brand new Super Target today. Supposed to be one of the biggest ones in California. Go figure? Anywhos's it has Starbucks, a deli, and bakery in it, besides groceries. But you know what?????????? It doesn't have a garden center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
