hello ALL!! Whats the haps? I told dh that I need to start on a TR, but I just dont know where to start.... So I have a mini for you guys...

Day 1: Loaded up the car and headed out.... We had a picnic lunch around Salem, and drove, drove, drove. We jumped off the 5 in Grants Pass. Headed to Eureka.... We were cruising through the mountains when Mikalah got her first bought of car sickness... Yeah, that was fun! Cleaned up and moved on.... Got to Eureka around 7pm, checked into the Rodeway Inn... Cheap, but clean. Went to bed, and dh woke up around 3:30 am... I woke up to a big lumbering man sneaking around our room in the dark. So before I started beating the crap out of him... i realized it was dh. We woke the kids, and were on our way! Drove down to San Fransisco... Very cool.. Drove to Dl!!! The drive from SF to DL is BORING!!!!! Major snooze fest! Checked into the Hojos and went to our fav taco place.

Right now I'm dealing with the after gall bladder surgery stomach junk. I either get terrible cramps and you know what, or I get the opposite, and that's not fun either. Went to the Doc yesterday, and he said that was real normal as first,and then things should settle better with time. Whew! You were right!!

Right now I'm dealing with the after gall bladder surgery stomach junk. I either get terrible cramps and you know what, or I get the opposite, and that's not fun either. Went to the Doc yesterday, and he said that was real normal as first,and then things should settle better with time. Whew! You were right!!

Told ya! it will get better, I just have to make sure I dont eat a heavy breakfast... If I do, hooo-weee! You dont want to be standing between me and the bathroom!

Im wiped!! It was so much fun, and we cant wait to do it again! We really thought that doing a road trip with the little ones would be really hard, but they did great! We have figured that we are only going to do one DL trip a year now... Definitely stay onsite, and stay for about 6-7 days. Makes it MUCH easier on all of us! oh yeah... and wear socks with my crocs... This was my first time not getting really sore, and not getting any blisters! In June, I had one on the first day!

Actually, it is way to close for my comfort. We are going to Dl, and I havent even started saving, and or planning for the trip! I am almost dreading the trip!

I'll be there the 1st weekend in January(4-6) for a mother daughter trip, just me and my mom. It's the last week that the Christmas decorations will be up. I wanted to go before Christmas but between the two of us we're just so busy. Dbf and I leave fo our cruise on December 21st. We get back Christmas eve. I can't wait! I don't know which trip I'm more excited about.

Im planning our next years trip... Ive decided to ignore december, and roll right on to next october! Dh wants to stay at DLH... We havent tried that yet, but I cant find concierge level. Do they not have it? Dh thinks a suite would be cool... Yes... even after i told him what it would cost! So do the suites include concierge? Anyone?

I've never stayed "on site" (is that even what it's called?). We usually stay at the Best Western and take the ART bus to Disneyland.

We stayed at the La Quinta on our first trip, and Hojos on our second. Then we got the killer AP rate for this last trip... Oh man... we are hooked! It is so much easier to get around, and to us anyways, it felt like we were immersed in Disney for the whole trip. Even the walk to the PP didnt seem that bad, even if we took the long way through DTD. Then the Grand... whooo-boy! Now that is one fan-cey hotel! Dh said he felt a little out of place in the hotel. Especially when Mikalah poked some guy on the back in the mens room... While he was peeing! Hey... in her defense, he had a Mickey Mouse back pack on! But he felt like we didnt quite belong there... I on the other hand LOVED it! The beds were soooo soft!

yeah, we are still going, But I dont think I am going to spend much time planning the trip. Whatever we plan will got all shot down anyhow. So we will show up, and see what happens.

staley in answer to your suite/concierge question...

concierge does not come complimentary just because you stay in a suite...I think possibly if you stayed in like the Roy or Walt Disney Suite which is thousands of dollars a night you might but not a standard suite...you cant find the concierge rate on the internet but it runs about $150 pp per night...ive done concierge at the DLH and I loved it but mainly because I liked going up that elevator no one else could get to...and it was nice getting drinks without having to pay for them but we didnt use the wine/cheese and appetizer thing but once because we were always in the park but we did go for the breakfast quite often and always came in at some point to get water and sodas and we would take them to our room...
