ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh much better.

I made Pumpkin Spice coffe this morning. It was yummy!

i want coffee too...i want to go make some but my head is hurting...i dont want it to hurt worse

Maybe the caffine will help.

i dont have any flavored coffee right now or flavored cream so I put some pumpkin pie spice and some cloves in my grounds to make it taste like pumpkin pie i am so creative I cant believe myself sometimes

I think the lack of caffeine is why I felt so grog today.

But I've over done caffeine and ended up with bad headaches.. so I can relate to your pain Lynn.

i dont really buy flavored coffees because I like mine strong..I buy the whole beans and grind them myself and i mix the beans...half ethiopian and half african...i have to have strong coffee...thats why I know where to get good coffee in DL...i cant stand the nesca caca they serve over the counter....and its not worth it to me to buy the coffee in market house for free refills because its nesca caca which tastes like hot water with a coffee hint...yuck

and I hate buying hot chocolate from there because its the same...they use the one with water instead of milk and its just hot water with a chocolate hint...whats up with that??

I have insurance through Blue Cross (PPO). My co-pay was always $10 when I went to the doctor. Then last year they shot up to $20!!

I hope that your DH feels better and that he will be able to join the Moreno Valley clinic next month.

eek $20 copay would quickly add up to a big bill if you had health problems.

Hubby and I were talking about crime in CA vs MN, I pointed out to hubby .. population density plays a role in the amount of crime.. big city = more crime

He's feeling kinda down, had to pay for his meds thru our new insurance. He's been paying only a $1 or $4 for meds for years, $10 and $20 copays is a shock in comparision. That and the doc screwed it up by writing it as 100 count for everything, resulting in the higher copays ($30 for more than 60 day supply).
One we made them fix it. Med he takes 3 times a day, they gave him 100 pills... uhhhhhh he was being charged another $10 for 3 more days worth of pills!

Back to the drawing board, still trying to find a family doc for him. The one we were given is in Riverside, last appt for day is 4pm. Ok, so what do working people do??? Take sick days for every appointment?

The Moreno Valley clinic is open until 7 pm, but they weren't accepting new patients until November.

It's all so frustrating, hubby is wigged out as it is with work and not feeling well. So he keeps saying we should move back , if it doesn't get better.

Told him to shut it and wait it out. Yeah I wasn't nice about it.

Gee Bernice, I hope things get better real soon! And like Pix said, I hope you can get into the clinic by you next month. Yes, California is a big state. Lots of things to do and see. Unfortunately along with it comes people and crime. Maybe this winter when it's not ice and snow outside, things will look better to DH, and he will think "Man it's nice today! Let's go to the beach and play in the sand!"

I was impressed with myself for making mock sugar free vanilla latte- yum, and I get a bit of calcium out of it too. I rarely drink milk plain, has to be organic otherwise it tastes like chemicals to me - UCK!

Wow, good idea! I used the rest of the flovored coffee for DBF's this morning and I don't feel like stopping at the store on the way home. I will try your handy dandy hint tomorrow!

Yeah, he enjoys being able to still wear shorts on the weekend. "This is why we moved here, darn it I'm going to enjoy it!" as he trotted out the door in short sleeves and shorts

We thought it was hilarious that the temp in St Cloud, MN was the same as here. But it won't last... there just having one of those rare warm fall days. Twice we have had MAJOR snow storms, blizzard conditions, on Halloween. No fun to go Trick or Treating bundled up to the eyeballs and getting covered in snow.

you went to SF staley???? sheesh you should have told me you were going...there are some FABULOUS places to eat there...you name it, I can find it....even if you just wanted to go to an true italian or jewish deli to get sandwiches to go or the bomb pizza that would stuff your whole crew just with one pizza or of course the best place to get clam chowder...you nut!

We werent going to go to San Fransisco... We were going to cut off and totally skip it, but i really wanted to do the GG bridge. So I think we were there for a total of about 20 minutes. We got in, and we left!

oh i buy it at Food 4 Less or Save Mart...where you can pour your own beans and grind them there if you want??? they have it for like $6.98 a lb and they have all different flavors if the ethiopian and africa is too strong...to me its just as good as buying the starbucks coffee beans whole but about $3 to $4 cheaper

oh it wont be like that here...its gonna be really warm in the afternoon and cool at night...but be aware ...I have a feeling we are going to have cold winter...last year it got like 19º for a few mornings and froze all the orange crop...remember tink? and its cooler than usual at this time of year so it might freeze in the am but sun will prevail
