boohoo, they are showing the Disney commercial where they talk about the Million Dreams come true thingie... and one of the prizes is an overnight stay inside the park.
The clip they show looks similar to how the Gallery looked-- wahhhhh they took away the gallery afterall??!!
Hubby has teased me everytime it comes on... you will never get to see it, you're not "one of them"

Gives me an excuse to clunk him on the head :thumbsup2

No really, why the heck take away something that was so special. I loved going up there.. not many people knew about it, it was one of those ohh cool magical moments when you stumble on things in the park.

I did too! I loved the art gallery and it was a cool place to escape the heat and crowds. Sometimes I bought a clam chowder in a bread bowl from downstairs and then ate upstairs there out where the water fountain is. It sucks that I can't do that anymore :(

I loved checking out the artwork and I bought some of those print on demand posters there. I got 3 of them: one was of the Tikki Room, the other was of a parade on Main Street with fireworks and the other was of the Plaza Pavillion. I'm not sure if they still sell those prints....maybe on the machine inside World of Disney. :confused3

Uh oh, I don't have Dizzy's Cell #. Do u have it? I hope I can see her tomorrow!

I'm sure they will still have Print on Demand- I 've read on other boards that it's very popular. There is a print that was in the Animation bldg in DCA, it was in that little exhibit area now it's a meet and greet thingie... that I want.. but looks like they don't have it as Print on Demand.

It's a print by Mary Blair as concept art for Alic in Wonderland. She's falling down, she's perfectly straight and her dress is not rumpled at all, you can see book shleves and things behind her.
I have a thing for Mary Blair artwork.

I've seen those. I've also seen the one of Alice large-sized all cramped in the room. I love the Tink ones too

Hey did some searching.. I guess I didn't describe the pic exactly right but this is the one....

Thanks for the link about the gallery and the dream book... holy moley, they went all out for the prizes this time. Much better than the first go round, I think they are listening to the guests more than before.. huh??:goodvibes

I'm waiting for my sister to send me pics she took with her camera

I was debating bringing my camera Satruday- I like walking the park unemcumbered with backpack, water bottles, coat, purse... children hanging on me, grumbly husbands.:rolleyes1

If I had a smaller/decent camera it would be better. My camera is old and slow as molasses. Not good for action shots, it takes it many seconds AFTER I click the button.:headache:

Perfect for scenery shots though :thumbsup2

hmmm, I think I'll send the postcards in to get into the drawings.. maybe I'll win something good:yay: Even if it's just a lanyard or hat.. it would be fun to get something special in the mail.

My large digital camera is good for action shots. It's lousy at night shots. My smaller one is okay, very light and less than 1lb. The night scene shots are really slow and some of the action ones aren't so good. I have to try using it more I guess

I hope we get dreamed! That would be awesome!!
