I'm home!
Quick visit but had a chance to chit chat with everyone-- it was fun!
Pixie texted me at 7:30 am "I'm here!" at that point we were just getting on the 91, then she called as we exited onto Ball Road.. she tole me ti was busy and the lines to enter were backed up to the California letters!
Met up with her and we had breakfast at Carnation Cafe, we had an argument over the bill-- she swiped it away from me and wouldn't let me pay
HEY! give that back!
Then I talked her into going on HMH -- with promises that she would like our family's beloved evil teddy. Along the way we notice Indy was a walkon. We scrambled (n the dark) thru the que and both of us gave a little cry over the lack of the "boom" pole in the spike room.
Told her about the eyeore sign in the movie room-- she was impressed that I have a pic of it.
Teased her that the bug scene on Indy was going to get her-- wahhhhh.... muahahahhaa.
As we got off, she joked about the Indy bugs have escaped and gone to Christina's
Walking along again on our way to HMH, Pixie notices it's a walk on for Pirates. We ended up in the first seat- and got sprayed with Pirate water on the first drop..UGH!
Not just a little water, I had to dry off my glasses to see! My bangs (fringe ala Christina) spackled to my head.
We laughed over the "cheeckin" scene, marveled that the women still laugh in the town /chase scene-- listening closely.
As we exited Pirates I noticed the dream team!!!
I got all happy and started clapping my hands in glee.. Pixie was confused, wondering why I'm all happy. They handed us the dream fast passes, with an extra pass for HMH!
We chattered excitedly over getting dreamed and I did a little skip as we walked over to HMH. Walked right on thanks to our dream fast pass.
I chanted along with the whole spiel/dialogue in the elevator.. Pixie was happy that the hanging guy is not in the top of the elevator.
I love NMBC, Pixie is a Corpse Bride fan. Introduced her to evil teddy.. isn't he cute!!?? "NO!"
Got off the ride and had a CM take a pic of us with our dream fast passes. Gotta show off ya know!
I wanted to see the Dia De Los Muertos display a little closer. Pixie called Dizzy, and we met up with her in front of the Golden Horseshoe.
We walked with her to get to WWS to feed her kidlets..
Walking past the doorway to the Candy Palace and Pixie tells us "I think I just saw Staley's husband and Mikaylah" she pokes her head in the door and yells "STALEY!!!" -- hey cool!
Now Pixie, Dizzy, Staley and family and I walked out of DL into DCA, then into WWS. Staley told me she saw my DL kitty yesterday
"well fed cat for being a stray" YUP!
I managed to pay for Pixie's pop before she had a chance to get her purse open muahahahha.
Gets to be after 11am,, uh weren't we going to meet Alex at the brother bear thing at 11? Cell phones out, calls made.. she was getting ready to sit for the show already. Kidlets start getting restless at WWS- exit time!
Had a crabby older CM at the grand's gate back into DCA, insisted on searching all the purses with meticulous care. Asked to see a room key-- WTH??
Pixie and I manage to get in without a fuss- thanks to Dizzy and Staley. We all agreed that none of us has EVER been asked if we were a hotel guest when entering thru there in the past.
The show for brother bear had already started- we snuck in and hung out in the back. First time for me, it was decent, not too childish. Dizzy DS was a cutie when he got a hug from Koda after the show-- all smiles!
Everyone gave up rounding up the kidlets, let them loose in the play area. Chit Chatted while we wll kept an eye on the kidlets.
Later, Pixie and I walked them over to GRR. We went to Soarin, exited and noticed HSM was just starting . Pixie got some pics of it for her sis and then we went to DL.
Rode Buzz, she beat me-- I suck at buzz. Rode Space-- some guy in front ofus screamed every two minutes-- ahhh......... ahhhh......... ahhhhhh...
Dude shut up! Wanted to smack him, very annoying.
Got off Space and noticed that the crowds were getting WORSE! Star Tours was using their extra indoor que and ropes. Line for Buzz was backing up into the walkway.
Decided it was time for a Dole Whip
Got in the slow moving line on the outside, then Pixie decided it might be shorter inside the preshow area. Perfect timing, they were just letting people into a show.. had a very short wait. Tried to pay for her Dole Whip Float but she bullied her way past me with money in hand for herself-- arrrgh! Let me pay you back already!! "you bought my soda" that wasn't enough!
The float looked yummy! Decided to give it a try- yum!
ok, funny part here. Pixie gets her Dole whip float, looks it over.. "I don't have a cherry!"
She tells the CM, "excuse me, EXCUSE ME! I need a cherry." The CM looks it over, oh it should be in the bottom. "where, I don't see it" , he looks really close.. nope, no cherry. He gives the other CM a bad time " gee, make sure to remember the cheeries" and gets one for Pixie.
ok, so I get my float.
And I have to laugh....

Met up with Alex for the 2:30 Billy Hill and the Hillbillies show. It took her awhile to get there, meanwhile there were no spots left to sit. Alex notices a lady sitting by herself, she's mouch braver than I or Pixie and goes over to ask if we can sit with her. One couple was sitting next to the lady, they are leaving and we score their seats instead. Not the best seats, too far to the side to see well, but good enough.
I watch a tiny bit of the show, they were just starting the "train thang" ,when I had to leave for home
Short and sweet, wish I could have stayed later.
But it was fun
need some new slippers though
and right now my house is at 68 it is almost time to turn the heater on again...
