18 year olds can go to war but they can't have a beer? I do see your point, but 18 year olds are not in highschool anymore and with increases in education of safe drinking I think it should be lowered.
I agree with you, Christina, but I think all of the ages should be raised. You can drive at 16, but most accidents are caused by young, very reckless drivers. (DH was very mature for his age at 16, but he sure did some boneheaded driving decisions then!) You can vote and go to war at 18, which don't make a whole lot of sense to me. I just don't think there's enough maturity at this age to be responsible for war or drinking, probably not for researching and voting intelligently either.

I checked but then I would have to move to Nebraska or somewhere cold like that. He is looking into Jamba Juice though!!!!:thumbsup2

Awwe, really? I didn't notice it had rules on where you could open one up. Jamba Juice would be good too. I hope things work out for you guys soon whatever you decide to do.

Thanks guys for the compliments on my sig! I can't believe I like Hannah Montana and HSM now! Oh and Suite Life of Zack and Cody! :rotfl2:

I talked to Emilee yesterday on the phone. She said: "You want me to sing a song from High School the Musical?" I said: "Okay!" Then her dad yelled: "NO!" in a loud voice in the background and she's all: "Awww......:("

Did I tell you all I got a wild hair up my **** and ripped all of my carpet out. Yep dh and I were going to wait to do the floor til he had some time off but I didnt want to shampoo it again and it was nasty. So now the floor comes in at the end of next week! :cool1:

Whose opening a Jamba Juice??

I was just wondering if it was due to work  I'm sorry you have to go through this. I'm sure things will work out.
Lynn, I'm so sorry! Is this in addition to possible lupus, or the same symptom? I'm hoping you have only one on your plate, that's enough.

When I had CTS ahhhh... 20 years ago (:scared1: ) it was a fairly new diagnosis, and not recognized as a work-related injury. I had just switched to a job where I was on the computer all day long, so my employer asked me to make a WC claim so they'd investigate. Basically I was treated like I was perpetrating fraud by the people interviewing me (these were the WC insurance people and their docs, not related to my company.) It was so frustrating! They basically came down with "there is definitely something wrong with your hand, but you haven't proven it's work related." I really didn't care, I wasn't trying to prove anything, I just wanted IT FIXED! :sad2:

Anyway, I thought just a few years later it WAS recognized as caused by computer work (and other types of work)? This should be a no-brainer.

I just wanted to say that I know how scary it is. I was really freaked out at the time that I wouldn't be able to work again, and wondered what the heck kind of job DOESN'T require the use of your hands??? And how about just getting along in life? We do EVERYTHING with our hands!

I hope things look up soon.

 ...okay....I just now realized you meant the carpet on the floor not elsewhere... I just read wild hair up your **** and so you ripped all your carpet out :scared1:

Pix, have you seen the white witch costume at DL for girls? Not that you are specifically looking for them but I was wondering if you have checked out the halloween stuff and noticed it. I would LOVE for my daughter to be Alice and I would be the Queen of Hearts but she wont go for it. They have a white witch costume on disneyshopping but sometimes they are cheaply made so if they had one at the park we might go and buy it. I like the Alice costume better at the park than the one in the disney store as well. Of course I have to pay a buttload for it.

Okay, I had to read that twice because the first time it sounded really really gross! :scared1: :faint:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Not a wax job woman!!! The actual carpet on the floor but I'm thankful for that hoot of laughter that just bellowed deep from my belly!
