Hi everyone. Gosh I feel like I need 10 days to catch up. Hope all is well.

Things are good here. I'm not done painting because I've had other projects and things to do at the schools that have kept me from them. Then, I was sick for 3 days. No fun for that.

So I wanted to drop by and say hello. I cannot believe most of you are going next week. I'm so jealous. I really wish ours would have stayed during that time. This dance studio just keeps changing things and I'm really thinking of changing myself to another studio but I have invested so much money into this season that I need to stick it out.

When are you going to DL? I still have to try to meet up with Alex when she goes to DL. Hopefully I can make it down.

We are going Nov. 10 and 11th. We have to come home on the 11th I think so it will be only 1 night hotel quick trip to DL for the performance.

I know what kills me is that these parents are apparently afraid of anyone Gay. Ok so I'm generalizing here but I want to tell them to watch out for Peter Pan while they are there!!!

Hello everyone! oy, what a busy day I have had so far! I did all our laundry, about a million loads of it! Actually, it was about 10. How on earth do we have so many clothes? then i packed us up, all we have left is the toiletry items. Now i am cooking some chicken soup.... waiting for mikalah to get up, and Alex to get home. We made Alex a really cool sign for the Jedi training thing... It says... The force is strong in this one... With an arrow pointing down, in star wars font and a picture of Yoda, and Obi Wan. I am going to get it laminated for our trip! Very cute, I just hope he gets picked! Dh and i were talking about when we are going to leave on Friday, I told him we might want to leave in the morning, just because I know how antsy he gets on vaca. days.... So I dont think he is going to want to go straight to bed. PLUS... they are talking about us getting snow on Friday, up in the mountains. So what if it is snowy over the passes we are going to hit in Oregon, and California? I would rather NOT do that at night!

Dh's boss got back to him and agreed that it's more expensive here, however because dh is already making more money than the rest of his peers and his peers are doing fine they can't justify giving him a large pay increase.

DBF and I were grocery shopping at the new Super Walmart last night and I saw Mickey Mouse head shaped hamburger patties! DBF wouldn't let me get them though.
DBF: But you don't even like hamburgers
Me: So, lets get them for you
DBF: I'm not eating a burger shaped like a mouse's head.

LOVE IT! I thought about doing that for DS7, but I'm not convinced he'll get up onstage. I explained about the Jedi Academy and he said he'd like to do it, but he's really shy at times, so I don't know. I bet if he and Alex went together, he'd do it, you know? But by himself?

So DS3 and I went to Nordstrom to get some itty bitty Crocs today. They had a very limited selection, but the one he really wanted were the Red POTC ones!

Naturally, all they had in his size were plain Navy blue, and when she checked stock on the computer, there were no POTC ones anywhere. Bummer!

So I checked at REI (nada), then went home and checked online (nada!) But I did find the Red Mickey head (holes) ones with black strap, so just bought those. He'll be thrilled with the little Mickey holes.

What's up Ladies?? Glad to know it wasn't my computer the other night, the whole Dis was messed up. Yes, I was yelling at my computer too - NO!!!!

I am so sore today!! Yesterday we had an unexpected meeting scheduled. I was dressed like a slob, so I ran over to Kohl's really quick to get an outfit. Didn't figure I would impress everyone at a Power Lunch in my flip flops & capri's!

So I have like 10 minutes to get an outfit. I was literally running into Kohls and tripped on the curb going in. I fell flat on my face, skinned my hand and knee. I was in total disbelief that I fell that hard and was just laying all sprawled out on the concrete. An old lady behind me started yelling, are you ok? I got up said, yes-thank you and kept right on running into the store. I had no time to get hurt! Found a pair of black slacks, shirt & shoes -- paid for them and asked if it was ok to go in the dressing room and put them on. Then went running out of the store.

Made it to lunch on time, went to the attorney's office afterwards to go over our plans for our new hotel purchase. I must say it felt really good to be back in the swing of things. Every since my cancer my boss has not really been bothering me with the "big/important" things. So it felt good to be included in something so important. Anyway, we are looking at purchasing a new hotel in Gunnison, Colorado (outside of Crested Butte).

Anyway, other than a sore hand & knee I felt ok yesterday. Today I am so sore it's unbelievable. I know I hit hard, but my muscles & bones just seem to ache. At least I fell down before the meeting and not in the middle of it! I'm such a klutz!!
