Sounds FAB!!! Did you know that you can paraffin wax at home? They sell the little tubs, and you just heat the wax, and pop your feet, or hands... or what ever you want in!:thumbsup2 Have you ever had a facial? If not, you should totally have one of those next!:thumbsup2

I've never had a facial. What's it like? popcorn::

Its really nice!! They scrub your face and massage it, and put super rich moisturizer on it... The only part that SUCKS... is the extractions. Thats where they go in and... um... take care of any zits or anything you might have. OUCH!!! But I can tell you, my face has never felt SO clean, or SO soft in my LIFE!!:thumbsup2
They both sound really nice. Maybe I'll have a facial done... I've never done that either, and my face definitely needs help! I have combination skin, oily with dry flakes and wrinkles. And blackheads and some acne, too. You'd think being nearly 45 I'd be done with that.

I have super sensitive skin, which is part of the reason I don't wear much make-up. I break out with darn near anything. In fact, recently on another thread they were talking about the wonders of mineral make-up, which I've heard is great for acne-prone skin and sensitive skin, so I bought some at Target and tried it out. Started breaking out the next day. :rotfl:

Coulda been hormonal, though, so I should try it again...

You should totally get a facial! I have terrible skin. Really, the worst!! It made me look so fresh!:thumbsup2 You should try out Bare minerals. It is ONLY minerals, and really good for your skin! My sister uses it, and loves it. and if you think MY skin is bad... Its NOTHING compared to hers!:lmao:

That's awful Alex! :scared1: I know what you're talking about though. I don't wear makeup because it dries out my skin real bad. It also gave me pimples. I don't wear makeup at all...haven't for years.

I use a Neutrogena facewash and lotion every day. It helps prevent breakouts. (gee, I sound like the commercial now) :rotfl:

I can't remember which brand I got. It was on sale at Target a week or two ago, very timely. :rotfl:

I use clinique. It is the ONLY thing that works for me. There is a system that you can buy, bar soap, toner, moisturizers. It is amazing!!

Yeah, I've used Neutrogena for years. I've tried various moisturizers over the years and always break out, so it's very disappointing. I have Cetaphil lotion for DSs' exzema, supposed to be very gentle on sensitive skin, so I tried it on my face at night, but it made my skin feel oily.

OMG! I'm watching Boston Legal on ABC (with William Shatner), and it's hilarious!!! :rotfl2:

I used to use Clinique make-up, they had a foundation for sensitive skin and it was the only stuff that didn't make me break out. But then they discontinued it and (at least at the time) didn't have a replacement (new and improved) version. That's when I quit wearing foundation. :guilty:

I bought something from Clinique today. It's the sparkle skin body exfoliator. I have tiny red bumps on my upper arm. The clerk said this wil help to get rid of it. :confused3

I use their foundation, and when we were at the store the woman tried it on me, and Alex looked at me. "Wow MOM!! You cant see your pimples anymore!!!" :headache: Dh was :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: his butt off!

 Awww...poor Staley!! At least your DH didn't bust out singing "Miracles Happen" from the Princess Diaries. That would have deserved a kick in the huevos rancheros! :rolleyes1

Out of the mouths of babes...

I remember my cousin wanted to see what I looked like with makeup. So we went to the Clinique or Estee Lauder counter and this really young girl (looked 17 years old) did my makeup. When I opened my eyes, I took one look and went: :scared1: :scared1: She put this weird eye shadow on me and it had glitter in it. Then she put way too much foundation and powder that was all wrong for my skin tone. She also gave me a nasty bright lipstick and I looked like a hoochie mama! :scared1:
