Okay, time for my morning Starbucks run. Yesterday the girl at the drive-thru annoyed me. I ordered a chop chop salad and she kept screaming: "Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop!" in a VERY loud voice. It hurt my ears listening to her through the intercom. :scared1:

well, then you know its a very chop chop chop chop chop salad :P

another way is to do pay by phone... it should be free... all you need is your check book for the information...

bill pay still takes some time :|

My bf was at the Honda dealership close to my work. He brought in his car for an oil change. It was funny because he was looking at the '07 or '08 model S2K's. A salesman comes up to him real fast and shakes his hand, introduces himself. Then he asks if he's interested in an S2K. My bf says: "Oh, I'm just a customer waiting for my car." The guy asks him what car he drives and he says: "An S2K." The guy says: "Really?? What year is it? How many miles?" My bf said: "It's an '02 and it only has 22K miles." The guy says: "Wow!! How did you manage that??" Hahahaha! When my bf bought the car it had less than 20K miles on it and was used but in excellent condition. Oh and for some reason they think that he also has a Honda Fit. We test drove it once at another dealership, but that's just odd that they think that he has one. :confused3

I picked him up during my break and we got breakfast and Mc D's. I had hotcakes and sausage and orange juice instead of Starbucks. He got a sausage egg mc muffin. I rarely eat their breakfast but the pancakes were good today :)

It's not busy right now at work. I'm waiting for my customer to send me revised P.O.'s since it was wrong. :sad2:

Yeah I thought of calling them.. but hubby took my phone today. I hope he finds his soon:headache:

Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit-- yum!
DS14 likes the McGriddles.. to me they taste too sweet.

We made homemade waffles a few nights ago- I forgot how easy they are to make. It just takes forever to make them.

hmmm, what kind of cheese? I'm all out of parmesean. :rotfl2:

How about some Stinky Cheese with legs! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Speaking of cheese, I found my favorite cheese for $4 for a huge chunk at Trader Joe's. I thought Whole Foods was the only market that had it (they are wayyy too expensive and should change their name to Whole Paycheck!) :rolleyes1

Stinky Cheese Man!!! Fun book!

Haven't found Trader Joe's here yet, I think there is one in Riverside. I've heard good things about them and want to see what yummy things we can buy.

Good afternoon, hyenas!

Sorry I missed the morning greeting; we were running late in getting ready for school and DS3 was having a meltdown. As it was we got DS7 to school (perhaps a few minutes late by the time he got to his classroom!), and by the time we got to DS3's preschool he was a happy camper. Whew!

We walked in the classroom door and one of the boys walked right up to us and said excitedly, "Hi, [DS3]!" He was very verbal, and much more clear in his speech than DS3. And also not shy at all! :rotfl:

I was encouraged, hoping that DS3 had made a new buddy in school. Or maybe he's that friendly to everyone, I'm not sure. In either case, it was very nice to be greeted by one of the kids in such a friendly manner. After we got DS's backpack and jacket put away, I took him into the bathroom (trying to start a good habit with him, and also prevent an accident at school), and I could hear a girl wailing away. I bet it was the same girl who wrapped herself around me that first day, wanting me to take her away. Poor little thing.

DS3 seems to have had a good day at preschool; when I picked him up he was all happy and chatty, going on about a classmate who had a birthday and whose mom brought in cupcakes!

OK, DS3 seems to be asleep (no peeking through the door) so I'm gonna go make some lunch. If anybody pops in, stick around, I'll be right back!

I hope you find a Trader Joe's. I thought it would be expensive. It's actually reasonably priced and they have such large selections of things (except fruits and veggies). They cost way less than regular markets and Whole Foods. I felt ripped off the last time I went to Whole Foods. I haven't been back since. They are just not worth it and they rip people off. :sad2:

I love their chicken gyozu (dumplings). It's really good if you fry them in a pan with a little oil. It also tastes good boiled. I dip them in ketchup or hoisen sauce (tastes sweet and is used for eating peking duck).

I bought grapes from there. It came with seedless dark purple, red and green grapes. The purple ones were the sweetest and the green ones were really really sour. :scared:

I also got some parmesano reggiano shaved cheese and their organic sour cream is really good. :)

If you buy their reusable bags (99 cents) and bring them back on your next visits, my sister said that they enter you in a drawing to win a shopping spree. Sounds really cool :)

Hi, pix! :)

I love Trader Joe's. Their frozen prepared foods are really good, and their key lime pie, while it isn't the artificially created lime color, is nicely tart and sweet, perhaps the best I've ever had!

I don't shop there much anymore since DH can't eat most of the stuff we love from there. But sometimes I'll go and pick up some little things that I'll have as a special lunch for me (so I get something other than boring old sandwiches, and it's better than fast food!)

I love gyoza but I've seen it made with two different kind of wraps. The thicker one just doesn't taste good to me, too doughy; but I love the thin won-ton one. I like it best steamed.

ETA: I've only ever had gyoza with teriyaki sauce. I didn't realize hoisin sauce was sweet...? I thought it was hot & spicy! Might have to try that out!

Hi Alex :) My grandma and mom know how to make gyoza from scratch. I tried to help them one time to pinch the ends closed and I sucked at it. :rotfl: I rarely eat them now but I love the ones from Trader Joe's.

I haven't tried their desserts. I tried their french onion soup. You heat it up in an oven safe bowl and when I tasted it, it was horrible! :scared: I bought their frozen tamales. They come in packs of two. One was cheese and chicken and the other was beef. You just microwave them for a few minutes. They taste really good. :)

I've never had a tamale before. My brother has a friend whose mom makes them from scratch, and she'll send a big batch over for my brother. But he's never bothered to share them. :rotfl:

My sister had a Vietnamese friend in HS, and she lived with us for awhile in college. She made eggrolls (I can't remember what they're called in Vietnamese) and my sis and I helped. They are sooo time-consuming to make, but soooo yummy! She also used the delicate won-ton wrap, and the really thin, clear noodles, ground pork, lots of shaved veggies. YUMMMMM!!!
