We never upgraded to Deluxe.. guess we will stick to So Cals

ohhhh and block out passes are $40!!!! EEEK!!!

$40 for a blockout pass is ridiculous I've been getting the Premium AP for the past few years. I just got sick of paying for parking and watching that cost rise, along with the price for blockouts and such. I don't like blockouts

Geesh weren't they $30? That's quite a jump for 1 day. We've always gotten deluxe. A few years ago they were on sale for $179 from $199. I doubt we will see sales on them any time soon. I believe that was 2004 when I got the sale before the whole 50th anniversary.

We played phone tag all day and then I had to leave. Never met up with her.



Side note... Hubby said he can drop me off on Saturday while he takes the boys to Nickel Nickel for video games. They are blocked out every Saturday with So Cal Aps (but I have a premium woohoo!)

Yeah $40.00 for a blackout pass is insane. So it would cost my family $160 EXTRA to go in even though I would have paid over $1040 to get Deluxe AP's. GEESH.

So I just had a flashback of sitting on a bench with a friend when I was a CM at WDW and we would look at families of usually 4 go by and realize that after they deducted our apt rent out of our paychecks it would cost us 4 weeks of pay just to get everyone into the park for 1 day. We would do this math all day long and realize I would have to save for a like 6 months without spending a dime to get a family in for a week! Of course that was 1993!

It seriously costs an arm and a leg to spend a day at DL these days. I'm surprised that the park is still so crowded, but that's most likely because of people coming in from out of state or overseas. Food along costs so dang much!
