nooooooooooooooooooooooo it's Golden SCREAM right now, for Halloweeen.
It's a silly show to give an award of best villain scream.
They show snippets of villains, ask you to judge which one should win (by screaming of course) .. cute twist in the end.
It's very silly, kids would like it.

That's crazy! Most sales I have been to start at 8 am, NO early birds allowed.
People just desperate for a deal or what???

Maybe if they had more thrift stores it wouldn't be so bad.... I miss the "junky junk" store that we frequented, 50% off everything on holidays/ day before holiday.

Know any thrift stores besides the crummy Goodwill? Can't remember which street it was on-- near Fiesta Food Warehouse I believe.

ohhh and a place for used books. I need to restock my trashy novel stash

Our garage sales used to be Sat & Sun, but now most people do them Friday & Sat. Most of the good stuff is gone by Saturday.

I can't hear my phone when it's in my purse/wallet. Kept it in my pocket , on vibrate.. that was an odd feling when she called me during Golden Screams.

Would love to get out of my contract. Tired of paying for minutes that we barely use... have one more year to go.

Well we didn't get SOME rain, we got a TON of rain today! Seriously it rained hard all day long from about 3 am until, well now!! It was just plain icky! I think our high was about 58 degrees.




I have AT&T and my phone sucked at DL. But I think it was because I was still on analog, but I upgraded to digital right afterward. DH also has AT&T and his had problems at DL too.

Bernice, do a Google for Thrift Store or Second Hand Store. I just found 4 thrift stores listed in Moreno Valley (Gods Helping Hand Thrift Store, Valley Econo Thrift, Bargain Fair Department Thrift Store & Better Used Thrift Store). Get busy shopping!!

My sister used to have garage sales all the time and the Early Birds drove her crazy until she stuck up a sign at the end of her road that said "Early Birds Pay Double"! It pretty much kept everyone away until her opening time!

Twin Cities (Mpls/St Paul) typically has them THURSDAY thru Saturday. Some even have a half day (after work) on Wednesdays if they have lots of stuff. If you had only a few thngs then you do an only Saturday sale, if you have a ton of stuff you do all 3 days .. then Sunday you mark it free on Craigslist and watch it disappear off your lawn!

Ladies in my yahoo coupon group had sales a few times each season. Selling off their stockpiles of good deals. Some had a frequent customer base that they advertised and did a presale by invitation.

My bf and I watched The Game Plan today. This girl sat next to me for some reason, while her family sat on the very end of the row. She was really loud and kept chewing with her mouth open (food flew out of her mouth a few times). She had seen the movie before and kept saying the lines of the movie OUT LOUD with her friend and giggling and talking loudly. My bf moved over one seat and so did I. She was bouncing on the seat up and down too. She looked about 9 years old....old enough to know that this is not like watching TV at home!

I don't really trust that list.. I know one of those is closed-- as in boarded up and vacant creepy looking closed.

I think the God's Helping Hand is a tiny place that is primarily for people in need. Or at least that's what I got when I did some research online.

It would be great if hubby could form some friendships at work---- need some "in the know" perspectives. Though Lynn's Aunt has been wonderfully helpful!! We love where we live!
