BERNICE!! I just read your post on how you were playing phone tag with Staley. I'm sorry you didn't get to meet up with her. That sucks

I noticed that there are several areas in DL where my phone signal sucks or I don't have a signal: Entrance and Exit of the trams, ESPN Zone area, Pirates (inside the ride), sometimes in New Orleans Square.

You need to change that to a smiley face Albort. Job security when it's busy! Wish I would have been at DL today, it rained ALL DAY LONG here!!

meh. I feel bad i didnt have water... :\ I was out of hour from like 2:00 - almost 5:00... seriously, it was called in at like 3:00 and it took two hours to get there... probably sent away like 60-70 people... :\

I ran out of Cotton Candy and Frozen Lemonade cup too... Started with like 120 sodas... 96 water + 96 water delivery.

end of the night, had around 30 sodas, 40 waters... thats how busy it was...

Im always cheerful on stage... though i am starting to hate my managers...

it was kinda hot but not Summer hot...

It was HOT, said 80 when we got to our car at 4ish, and car was parked inside. Very hot in the sun.
Noticed lots of crabby over tired hot kids--- wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and tantrum tantrum " I hate you"

With my T-mobile there was a dead spot near Pirates. I remeber calling hubby from Riverbelle Terrace, outside seating area. As soon as I got up from the table and moved a few feet closer to Pirates it just died.

Not usre if the Goodwill here is participating, they weren't very friendly when we checked them out a month ago. Haven't found a good thrift store yet, maybe next door in Riverside will be bettter.

I know one thing.. rummage sales here are just CRAP! Most sales we have drove on by.. just a pile of clothes thrown on the driveway. tons of signs ...HUGE SALE! and they had two tables with 5 items on each table. (this was at 10 am, not even noon and they had nothing !)

The very first sale we went to after the move, they had their little kids crawling thru the stuff, playing with everything. Dog loose and barking, music blaring. Stuff just tossed on the ground, no prices. Garage open, but couldn't tell if stuff in the garage was on sale or not.

girl dont you know....cali people are up before the rooster crows for garage sales...by 10 am almost everything is gone already...people are setting up at 5am and people start showing up at 6

ALISON!! What's up girl? I haven't talked to you for awhile. You're lucky you got some rain. It was windy and a little warm out today, but it wasn't unpleasant. Right now it's a bit warm though....80 degrees!

That's not good! I don't blame the kids for being crabby. When it's hot, it makes me a bit grumpy too.

I love the Frozen Lemonade. I know they are full of sugar and not very good for me, but I still love them!

I have no clue yet. I know this week is going to be a bit crazy for me, especially with work. Tomorrow is our month end closing. Yuck!

That's crazy! Most sales I have been to start at 8 am, NO early birds allowed.
People just desperate for a deal or what???

Maybe if they had more thrift stores it wouldn't be so bad.... I miss the "junky junk" store that we frequented, 50% off everything on holidays/ day before holiday.

Know any thrift stores besides the crummy Goodwill? Can't remember which street it was on-- near Fiesta Food Warehouse I believe.

ohhh and a place for used books. I need to restock my trashy novel stash

omg that is the best thing ever...but when I did my daytrip in march I discovered the frozen cherry lemonade at Wetzel Pretzel and they give you more for cheaper than in the Park so since I HAVE to go there for my jalapeno pretzel I am getting it there now

Well we didn't get SOME rain, we got a TON of rain today! Seriously it rained hard all day long from about 3 am until, well now!! It was just plain icky! I think our high was about 58 degrees.

I have AT&T and my phone sucked at DL. But I think it was because I was still on analog, but I upgraded to digital right afterward. DH also has AT&T and his had problems at DL too.

I remember some other DIS members posting that their cell phones don't work in the same places mine didn't in DL. They all had different service providers too.

nooooooooooooooooooooooo it's Golden SCREAM right now, for Halloweeen.
It's a silly show to give an award of best villain scream.
They show snippets of villains, ask you to judge which one should win (by screaming of course) .. cute twist in the end.
It's very silly, kids would like it.
