well, just recommending you to bring something a bit heavy... better something than nothing... :)

Maybe its just me... it feels cold sometimes even with the jacket... maybe because this week was a bit cold...
I just checked the Anaheim forecast, and it looks like sunny and mid-70s to low-80s. (Of course, Lynn says to add 10F...) Evening temps show upper 60s for the latest time we'd possibly be outdoors there, 11PM. So a light jacket should be more than enough, probably not even needed, but I agree with you, better to have something just in case.

And it's supposed to be sunny on my birthday!!! :goodvibes

Do you have any idea how unusual that will be for me? SUN!!! In October!!! :rotfl2:

Hey you two, chatting about the weather are yous? How's disneyland Albort? It has been almost a year since I was there last, seems like just yesterday.

Oh fine, hide when I come around  I have to finish making my supper anyway. I'm making honey mustard chicken, potatoes baked with onion and carrots and some asparagus tips mmm. I can't wait until it's done.

I love those, too. The Anne of Green Gables were so hilarious!!! And of course very touching and beautifully filmed as well. I didn't really feel the relationship between Ann and Gill (the two actors I don't think had chemistry together), but I loved the story.

oh man I love the Anne of Greene Gables series that was out...and I love Prince Edward Island...I want to go there so bad especially during Fall....:cloud9:
I'm so happy that you and your family are going! Yay!! :yay: :cheer2: I know it's tough to wait and the planning alone makes you want to go even sooner!

I never thought I would make friends on the DIS. I didn't really talk to anyone and I found the DIS through Google. I was wondering if there was a Disney board and voila! The DIS was found! I posted now and then but didn't really talk to anyone. Then last year Shawna's thread brought all of us together! It's so awesome to have met and hung out with you guys and I hope to meet you too! :yay:

can we say obsessed?????:rotfl: jk;)

my Cell Phone is kinda stupid... it plays MP3 BUT the ringtone MUST BE polytonic... kinda LAAAME :\

Albert my dear, that would be polyphonic...as in F...:rotfl2: :lmao: that made me laugh....

There are some DIS members who used to be on all the time. Now it seems like I rarely see them or they just sort of disappeared. :confused3 I hope they weren't scared off by the people you mentioned. I never see Rosie or Darth Nader anymore. Rarely see Patti or spazzyjazzy

I agree with you...most people would not have the guts to state their comments in person. :sad2: I believe that some of them are just those who search for drama or have to create their own.

oh yeah...I saw Rosie on the boards not too long ago...I think she is planning another trip and Jemilah is planning a trip and Spazzy pm'd me the other day because we hadnt talked for awhile but yeah I miss some of those old guys:guilty:

ah see that is where I tend to differ from that ...there is nothing that I tell someone that I wouldnt tell to the persons face ....especially if they called me on it;)

hahahahhaa, your lucky, she hates me :P

check how mad she is when i put my name tag on her :P

she doesnt hate you ....she loooooooooooooooooooves you:love:

Good morning, hyenas!
Rain, rain, rain, for the foreseeable future. (Not that I'm going to care in 5 days!!!)

I spent the night getting kicked by DS3 every 10 - 15 minutes. GEESH, that kid is busy in his sleep!

I was awake at 6:00 a.m. when DH got up to use the bathroom, and when he came back I whined and told him we HAVE to get that kid sleeping in his own bed! DH didn't answer, just grabbed the little monster and snuggled him tight in hopes that he'd keep his feet off of me. I appreciate the gesture, but by then I was wide awake. No more sleep for Mama.

Today's schedule: Grocery shopping and laundry, laundry, laundry! Got big heaps of it that I need to get through before we go on vacation. The cool thing about having such crappy weather here is that I can pack up the summer clothes we'll be taking on the trip now, and finish washing the regular clothes so they'll be ready for us when we return. No mad rush to do laundry once we get back. :thumbsup2

poor alex...you are right...you need to kick him out of the bed or tell hubby that either he goes or you do:rotfl2:

Egads! You mean it's under 70F in the evenings?! ;)

ha ha very funny...I will have you know missy that it has been getting down to mid 50's at night:snooty:

Oh fine, hide when I come around  I have to finish making my supper anyway. I'm making honey mustard chicken, potatoes baked with onion and carrots and some asparagus tips mmm. I can't wait until it's done.

mmm that sounds good christina....I think for dinner Im gonna make it easy on myself tonight....I worked 12 hours on friday and couldnt sleep for crap friday night till around 3am and got up at 8 and went to work from 9-1 OT...and I had bb last night ...so Im gonna make chicken oriental...its really easy and very good as well as being economical and makes a big pot...you just boil 6 chicken thighs in a pot full of water (no seasoning at all)...when they are done you remove them from the pot and put in a bag of frozen asian blend vegetables...I use one that has french cut green beans, broccoli, mushroom slices and red pepper with onions and a bag of broccolli florets...cook them for awhile till they are soft (if you like your veggies a little crisper then dont cook as long)then you take 6 pkgs. of chicken or chicken and mushroom top ramen that has been crushed (i just pound each bag with a rolling pin or ice cream scooper if its heavy enough) and then pour each pouch of top ramen into the pot including the seasoning packages...stir it and let it continue to cook ..meanwhile I pull off the skin on the chicken and tear it into pieces then put the chicken in the pot....turn it off to cool and absorb the liquid and then wah lah...serve a salad and we're good to go:goodvibes

hey sorry about last night guys...I didnt deliberately bail on you...for some reason disboards wasnt working well and wouldnt let me in...it finally did and then kicked me out again so I gave up :confused3 ....alex when are you leaving for DL? I didnt know if staley had texting on her phone but I sent her one anyway wishing her a fun time and to ride TOT for me  im just going to kick back today and watch some tv and maybe take a nap...I definitely have to do some laundry:sad2: but im just going to enjoy my 1 day off this week...im trying to work some OT because the next check will be my dd bday and the DL trip and I want to have moolah:goodvibes my bb's grandpa owns a limo and I think we are going to have him drive us to Olive Garden for her bday with the family and then aftewards bb's mom and lexie's dad and stepmom can drive around and have a few drinks with tiff...so now I need to think about something to do ON her bday....Olive Garden is expensive so I cant really take her out 2 nights in a row for dinner but maybe she might think of something for me to make her special and I will buy her a 6 pack of beer:lmao:

Oh fine, hide when I come around  I have to finish making my supper anyway. I'm making honey mustard chicken, potatoes baked with onion and carrots and some asparagus tips mmm. I can't wait until it's done.
That sounds yummy! I have boneless skinless chicken breast that I need to cook up tonight; how do you do the honey mustard chicken??? I think I'm just going to put some sort of sauce on top of the chicken in a baking dish and bake it...Is that what you do with the recipe?

oh man I love the Anne of Greene Gables series that was out...and I love Prince Edward Island...I want to go there so bad especially during Fall....:cloud9:
I agree, it looked so incredibly beautiful! I thought for the longest time that Prince Edward Island was in BC; turns out it's Nova Scotia! :lmao:

ah see that is where I tend to differ from that ...there is nothing that I tell someone that I wouldnt tell to the persons face ....especially if they called me on it;)
I can well believe that some of these people actually ARE this rude in person. But there is a distinct difference between an honest, blunt person (like my DH) and someone who is obnoxious and antagonistic. These people act like they're being the former, when it's really the latter, and if they truly are that way, I imagine they are very unpopular. I myself can't stand people like that! If you can't say anything nice or helpful (or at least not antagonistic) then shut up and move along! How hard is that?! :confused3

ha ha very funny...I will have you know missy that it has been getting down to mid 50's at night:snooty:
Not that I think you would deliberately lead me astray, Lynnie-bear, but the hourly forecast indicates it will be 68-69 at 11pm. That's a pretty warm evening around here, and just unheard of for this time of year. So I think we'll be plenty warm with just a light jacket. UNLESS, of course, the forecast changes. I intend to keep checking as the trip gets closer! We fly out this Friday the 5th! :woohoo:

mmm that sounds good christina....I think for dinner Im gonna make it easy on myself tonight....so Im gonna make chicken oriental...
Lynn, I make it similarly. I break the noodle 'brick' into 4 squares (just to make them fit easier in the pan) and drop it into boiling water. After one minute it is breaking up, so I dump in the frozen veggies (I usually just do frozen peas/corn.) After another minute I drop in a raw egg and swirl it up into the mix and cook for one minute longer. If I'm making soup I'll drop in the flavor packet; if not, I just sprinkle the seasoning on after I strain the mixture, and mix it up. I usually have leftover meat that I cut up and drop in either with the frozen veggies, or zap in the microwave and add after I sprinkle the seasoning on. Yum! (But also very high in fat/sodium, so DH can't eat this anymore. I only make it when he's not around.)

Me too!! I have always wanted to see Prince Edward Island. It looks so pretty and I bet the weather is nice there too since they have beaches. :thumbsup2 Here's a cool website I found: http://www.gov.pe.ca/visitorsguide/index.php3 I wish I could go there and eat on the beach! That looks fun :)

Weather.com is showing mid-60s as late as 11 PM (tonight), and that's the absolute latest we'd be outdoors, I think. So I think we'll be good to go with light jackets. I think we'll be out that late only a couple nights (for MHT, and maybe fireworks another night.)

Usually we'll be back to our room by 8:30 or 9:00. Unless the boys want to go swimming like they did last time. Yes, they did, even if it was only for 15 minutes and they came in with blue lips. :sad2:

OK, so I slathered my boneless skinless chicken with a honey-mustard mixture and baked it for half an hour, then flipped it over and will bake another 10 minutes. (Roughly following a recipe I found online.) I hope it turns out.

The kids should like it; they like to take their baked chicken and dip it in mustard anyway, so this will just have a nice honey taste added. (Oh, gee, I forgot that little ones aren't supposed to have honey. Hopefully DS3 won't react.)

If I'm remembering right, the Staleys were arriving in DL today. Do you suppose she's having any fun yet? :lmao:

I'm soooo ready to go! Well. Not literally, I haven't packed a darn thing. But mentally ready. You know... :cool1:

OK, time to get the chickie on the table and feed the family. I suspect DH and I are the only ones who are really hungry, the kids snuck a bunch of goldfish crackers about half an hour ago. :sad2:

Sayonara! :)

Hi Guys, I didn't bail on you last night either. The Dis kept kicking me off also, so just like Lynn I finally gave up!

Had a rather uneventful day - rearranged the furniture in the living room & dining room and switched some of the tv's in the house around. Our big screen finally bit the dust (probably not worth fixing). Did some laundry, make spaghetti, salad & garlic bread for supper. It pretty much rained here all day, so it was just a good stay in the house type of day.

Hmmm...did I time this right for once? I see Lynn & Alex's green lights just came on. Are you there ladies?

Theme of the day:

Where is Staley????

No, it's much worse than those horrid Where's Waldo books. Albert is way easier to find then Staley, sigh...

I called her at 10am, left a message
called her at noon, no answer
Got a phone call -- my shorts were vibrating! at 2pm, I was in Golden Screams so couldn't answer the phone.
Called her back, left a message.
3:45, found Albert... tried talking him into selling me a churro.. he laughed of course (he was doing the pop thingie in front of Soarin)

" I don't have churros".

ok, then give me a water.

" I don't have any"

then why is it on your sign??!

--- He covers the sign with his hand...

meanwhile, hubby is not amused:rolleyes1

I call Staley, Albert hadn't seen her either. Tried to leave a message for Staley but her voice mail beeped and recorded during the water discussion.. so Staley knows that someone doesn't have water

Called her again, left a real message.

Walked around DTD and then went home around 4 ish.

At the grocery store, got a phone call from a 714 area code.
HMMM??? ok who the heck is that???
I think DL area is that area code.
I answer hello? silence and then my cell tells me I was diconnected.

Maybe Staley was calling from the hotel? Or it was Albert???

No meet up for me today. :sad1:

ah thats only for babies under 2...so no worries:goodvibes

Well we know she likes Churro's, so maybe you should have been standing in front of the churro stand instead of stalking Albort!:rotfl2: Bummer that you guys didn't get to meet up. I remember when we were there in June I was having problems getting through to her phone also.:confused3
