lol, there is a dining table on the right of me... i dont really eat there though... usually in my room...

but still, its a good price i think... its cheap... its like $400 more for other places...

Yeah, our rent is pricey but worth it. Some of the cheaper places are really scary!!! Like broken windows replaced with cardboard or plywood. No trees, no grass.. just dirt! YUCK! And the neighborhood is not a good place, not to mention they would end up at the ickier schools.

it's funny though, hubby ended up working at a school on the total opposite end of town, also where dialysis is located.
But at least it's not a terribly far commute. His fellow teacher were complaining of having 2 hour commute one way... gee hubby only has 15 minutes during rush hour I never understood getting a job in one city and living in anohter... All that travel back and forth for hours-- what a waste of gas and time. If you add it up, are you really saving anything?

Moreno Valley gets a bad rap, but there are pockets of really nice neighborhoods. Gated communitites and an apt manager that is extremely pciky guarentees no problems. I rarely hear neighbors here.

yep, the manager lives here.
And they have a mintenance crew here everyday keeping it all pretty and shiney.
And a gardener crew once a week.. we have TONS of trees, flowers, plants. A regular jungle.

Does that mean your gate is locked all the time?
Ours is locked when the manager is not in the office, before 8 am and after 5pm you need a remote. If you're walking after hours you need a key to get in to the gate. The door is kinda hidden too.

hmm didn't think of power outtages....

I know when I called for the ambulance when hubby was sick, that they took forever to get here..I remarked to hubby " gee if you were having a heart attack you would be dead by now" -- took them more than 20 minutes from when I hung up with 911.

Guess we were babied by the quick response in MN (like we heard the sirens wailing before hubby finished talking to 911 operator).

Found out from one of the EMTs that the couldn't enter the gate.

Manager was all confused, fire dept is suppose to have a key for the lockbox on the gate.

Hello!! ugh... I am SOO freakin sick. Well... after all the excitement of mikalah making in the potty.... about half an hour later she peed on the floor, and refused to go anywhere near the bathroom! Now she is back in diapers, and is happy as a clam!

Dh went down to the dealership, and got the oil changed and it took 2 hours!!!! We prepaid all our service, but they offer an upgrade for $8. Well... our tire light keeps coming on, so we had that checked out... I guess there was a nail in the tire... The guy told dh that it would be $18. to fix the tire... of he could pay the $8. upgrade and it would be free! Ummm... Duh!

Im so excited... and i just cant hide it! A week and a day and we leave! A week and 3 days, and I will be chillin at the park!

The Halloweentime decoratiosn should be up this weeknd-- yeah!!! A first for me and family. We did MHT the very first yea rin DCA, but they didn't have decorations in either of the parks at that time.

Last weekend we noticed the candy corn stuff in DCA, but they still had red/white/blue bunting in DL on everything. They did have a cute display on the tram road..

ohhhhh, have I mentioned we keep seeing the same white and orange tabby cat sitting above the Mickey head garden?
She doesn't seem to mind the crowds in the morning.

We find it very amusing that no one notices a kitty cat sitting among the flowers
