Oh my goodness... Alex's room finally got the best of me today. I told him if he couldnt keep it clean, I was going to go in and throw away a bunch of his toys... he didnt, and I did! 3 big ole garbage bags full of stuff!! He actually helped me, and was most pleased at how it looked afterwards! We got it all cleaned up, and vacuumed out.. It looks really nice now! I told him if he still cant keep it clean, I will take out all his big toys, and throw them away!

That's a hilarious way to deal with the obvious change.

It really was!! I was totally impressed that they decided to make light of it, and they did a great job, IMHO.

Oh hey... when do you want to meet up with Dizzy? At the Redwood creek thing? That would probably be the easiest place with the kids.... I dont know how my kids would be at the Billy Hill show... I think Mikalah would get to antsy... Turtle Talk, or the Playhouse Disney show would be Okay though...

oh wow... I really thought that Soarin was a 42 in ride... I SOOO hope Mikalah is 40 inches by then!! I might be buying her some high heeled sandals for the trip!

DS7 is newly into the Yu-Gi-Oh, stuff and has a stack of cards. I kept finding them everywhere, and was always nagging him about putting them away. So he went off to practice tonight, I walked into the family room, and they were all over the floor! So I picked them all up, put 'em in a ziplock bag, and put the bag on a high shelf in the kitchen. To my surprise, he hasn't even noticed yet.

DS7 is newly into the Yu-Gi-Oh, stuff and has a stack of cards. I kept finding them everywhere, and was always nagging him about putting them away. So he went off to practice tonight, I walked into the family room, and they were all over the floor! So I picked them all up, put 'em in a ziplock bag, and put the bag on a high shelf in the kitchen. To my surprise, he hasn't even noticed yet.

Alex has a bunch of those... I dont even know where he got them!! But they went in the garbage today as well. He has some Pokemon cards... but we keep them in a binder, and he's not allowed to take them out! Fun, huh?

It looks like the first one is at 11:30. So I think that is a good time. Time to sleep in and get down some grub and make it over there. At least for us... I have a feeling that those last couple of days we are going to be pretty wiped out.

Not everything, but a TON of things. I told him that if it was on the floor, and I got to it before he did, it was going in the rubbish. I threw out ALOT of toys today. Transformers.... tons of them. It really hurt, because those things are so spendy, but he doesnt take care of his things... Maybe this will teach him a lesson. but there was a lot of garbage in his room too... Old McDonalds toys... torn up color books...broken toys. It was a hot mess!

We have dinner at Steakhouse 55 that night... I need to get a PS for Goofy's Kitchen. I might switch it over to that... Mikalah is OBSESSED with Goofy right now!! All day she asks me if Goofy is on TV!

buy him a digital one.. aka gameboy... i used to play that game and yes, it will destroy your allowance really really really badly... :|

Awww!! How sweet! Dh is all about getting mikalah a Goofy doll this year. She has a Mickey and a Minnie doll... But come to think about it, the ONLY character Mikalah would go anywhere NEAR was Goofy!! She gave him a high five, and OF COURSE some guy was in our way, so we couldnt get a pick!!!!

I remember you telling us about when he met goofy... I would have been BAWLING!!!

We go through the boys' stuff and pull out old Happy Meal toys and broken toys and incomplete games and stuff. But we haven't done that in awhile, and it's outta control!

We hadnt done it in a while... MAybe a year or so.. It was really bad! I know a main cause of the issue is the fact that we moved mikalahs bed in his room, so it takes up a ton of space. his room is very small, so there isnt much floor space now.
