I think being famous is scary...paparazzi chasing you and blocking your car, peeping into your home, plus the scary fans....like that one that saw Brad Pitt and she grabbed his neck and he was all startled.

Oh I didn't hear about that I think it would be scary too. Britney spears ran over a paparazzi's foot but I mean Im surprised it doesn't happen more often. They get right in front of the car and right in the windsheild snappng pics, I would freak out. I don't think I would ever drive.

Good Morning Hyenas! First night with the new kitties went well. They don't appear to be very socialized, so we have to work on that. They want to hide out behind the washer & dryer. So this morning I dug them out and duct taped some cardboard to the front of the washer & dryer so they can't crawl between them! If we didn't look like a bunch of rednecks before, we sure do now!

They did good last night. I left a nightlight on in the laundry room for them and not a peep out of them. Well until I started hearing bumps at about 1:30 this morning. They were out playing!

The really good news is they are very litter box trained! So today we're just going to sit in the laundry room floor and play with them all day. I don't want to let them out in the rest of the house until they are used to people and won't run from us.

Let it go Albort. Life is too short to spend time being mad about things you can't control. Just take a deep breath, do your best at work, enjoy the fact that you get to work in a beautiful place and enjoy the people you get to meet each day.

bleh... i cant let this go on... im getting trouble for someone else's mistake. I cant just be the scapegoat of the department and HAVE A RECORD by my name. Managers dont give a crap about us monkeymakers...

yeah, time for me to really transfer out... im tired of it... Our Union is a piece of crap, our managers are jerks... bleh!

On the + side, i found a roommate to bunk with me...

and my mom wants me to see a fortune teller so im going on Monday night.

to add to all my misery, i approached my manager about my status of my Dream Squad application, his response was "oh, is still havent talked to the other people yet. Sorry, ill try to get it in and let you know next week." In other ways, "CRAP, i forgot, ill ask Dream Squad recruiter if i can still apply(already passed the deadline) and as well as talk to other managers." Though i didnt really take it too seriously, i just shrugged it off. :\

I applied to be a trainer in April... and still NO WORD... :\ I gotta stop. see you guys after work...

Ugh, I finally fell asleep around 7am and just woke up (3pm). Bernice called me this morning around 8:30am. I told her I couldn't sleep all night and had just fallen asleep and she said: "Awww...." I felt like absolute crap and hopefully I will be able to sleep well tonight.

Sorry to hear about your job. I think if you want to stay at DL, I agree with Alison, just let it go. Vent and let it go. I know it's hard, but if you don't it just makes you feel worse.

Is there a manager or someone in HR you can speak to about what's been happening? If there is, then maybe you could sit down with them and talk to them in private.

If you can't transfer elsewhere, then I suggest finding another job. There's no point in staying with a company that makes you feel lousy all the time.

I worked at Macy's years ago and they treated me like crap because I was the youngest one there. They had "vulgar Friday's" <this is what they called it> where they would eat in the restaraunt upstairs and bash all of management and co-workers. One manger was really mean to everyone (I noticed if you were asian, hispanic, etc. she was EXTREMLEY mean). One time I was doing something and she told me to do something. I said: "I'm sorry, could you please repeat that?" and her response was: "What, are you stupid??? Do you not understand English???" That was the final straw for me. I went to HR and she said: "Oh, that's just how she is" like it wasn't a big deal! I found a job elsewhere and quit. I worked at Cost Plus World Market in the early morning. That was the BEST place I ever worked. Everyone was awesome and I actually looked forward to going to work every day. I had to quit though because of the pay. They hired me as seasonal and made me permanent. After a while I couldn't stay there because they couldn't make me full time and my pay was too low.

You just have to decide if it's really worth it to stay or leave elsewhere and be happy.

I'm sitting here eating some really good chips I got at Costco. They are Multigrain Tortilla chips made with flax, sunflower, sesame seeds, oat fiber, brown rice, quinoa. They are really good for you and taste good also. Even the kids like them. Justs made a pink strawberry lemonade slushie also. Take Crystal Light pink lemonade and put in the blender with frozen whole strawberries. Yummy and Low Cal!

They seem to know where their food & water dishes are and where the litter box is, so I guess they just need to explore and check out their new home. They are so much fun. So now we are up to 3 cats & 2 dogs! My brother's dog came over to play today and so did the neighbors dog. So I had 4 dogs running around in the yard. Now my dogs are tired! They played really hard today.
