ok so guess what I did last night??? Tiffany was born at 12:03am on 10/18/86 so a few minutes before midnite i took her to the grocery store and gave her my atm card and let her go buy some beer for her to drink...the guy at the checkout said over the intercom" Happy Bday Tiffany...she turned 21 right NOW!!!" and the checkers all clapped for her ...embarrased her to death:lmao: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

How embarassing! :faint: I would have fainted! lol! Happy Birthday to Tiffany!! Woohoo!

Oh, bummer about Monsters Inc.! Ds3 loves that right and asked me several times to go on it, so we did. :goodvibes

I even (shhhhh!) took a few flash photos this trip! :ssst:

HOLY CANNOLI, Staley, we just got a big gust of wind!!! :scared1:

even if she doesnt do santa you HAVE to go through the cottage...it is sooooooooooo adorable....I took pics but somehow they didnt come out right...its so cozy in there I would totally live in it...if there were only a bed:lmao:

I'm worried about my littlest munchkin... again! I picked him up from preschool and his teacher said he "wasn't himself" the last half hour or so of class, that he just wanted to lay down, so they let him. (They're usually eating lunch, then outside playing.)

I remembered that last night he said he was tired and wanted to go to bed (he's my nightowl!) early, and slept nearly an hour later than typical this morning.

On the way home he said he wanted to finish his lunch, but when we arrived he said he wanted to go to bed, so I took him potty and we headed to bed. He told me his tummy hurt. :(

Here's hoping he can sleep it off, whatever it is.

Me, too. He was sick just two weeks ago as we left for DL (shudder!) That was a flight to remember. :headache:

I was surprised that he told me his tummy hurt, it's the first time he's been able to say that! Normally he would just get whiny or cranky and then start spewing or his temp would climb before we'd clue in. At least he's old enough now to tell me what hurts.

Awww....sorry to hear your DS3 is sick :( Maybe he picked up a 24 hour bug of some sort. :confused3

I think that would be so cool! I loved wearing my B-day button at DL this past June. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) said Happy Birthday to me all day long! Plus I got a whole bag of tortillas in DCA.

Hey, Moto! I wore my birthday button on our trip, too! (And I was darn grateful they told me to put my name on it, not my name and age! ) About the 3rd time a CM told me "happy birthday" DH sez, "That's not going to get old for you, is it?" and I just grinned and said, "Nope!" :goodvibes

I didn't get a lot of comments, maybe 6 - 8? But I was given a special dessert at lunch (Blue Bayou.) DH ordered a birthday cake for our dinner at Steakhouse 55, but that was sort of a disaster; otherwise I'm sure we would have had a little freebie dessert there as well.

Ok guys, I want your opinion on something. Let me start at the beginning. A few weeks ago I got a spam e-mail from the person I booked my cruise with at Carnival Cruise line. At first I thought it was my cruise documents because I had just paid it off. Well it turns out it was an e-mail about someone’s sick kid and AOL was going to give the mom 5 cents for every time it was forwarded, blah, blah, blah, you know the kind I’m talking about. I could see all the e-mail addresses that he had sent it to, some were other Carnival employees and others were probably people who had booked a cruise. Well I was pissed. I called and spoke with his manager and to make a long story short all they did was upgrade me 2 floors and nothing happened to the guy. I thought about it for a while and finally decided to cancel today. Should I just let it go or is there really anything I can do? I mean I really didn’t appreciate my e-mail address being sent to all those people. There were like 75 people that he sent it to.

personally I would let it go...no real harm has been done and hey you got upgraded 2 floors out of it...besides I get fwds all the time and my email address is on it and a bunch of others as well and I personally dont look at any of their addresses because I dont know them...I dont think you should cancel your cruise except to go with another cruise line if they have a better deal...

Wow, that's really unprofessional on the part of the employee. That sort of thing just wouldn't have been tolerated with my previous employer, the employee would have been fired I'm sure! You don't mess with customers' information!

On top of that, those emails are not usually legit. They are a great way to spread bugs, or at least collect a bunch of email addresses to sell to spammers; some of them have an embedded program that tracks email addresses every time the email is forwarded. I almost never forward on a forwarded email for that very reason. If I do, I usually cut and paste the email portion into a new email rather than just hit the 'forward' button.

OOOOOOO, the wind is kicking up again! Trees are swinging in the wind, the house is creaking, and the cat is freaking! :lmao:

The power has 'blinked' several times, I can hear a click and the lights flicker for a fraction of a sec.

Ooohhhh, there's a pretty bird I've never seen before, gryish with spotted wings, black tailfeathers, and red at the back of his head and on his 'cheeks'. He has a long skinny black beak, and is looking around like "WTH?!" at everything swinging in the wind! :rotfl2:

I think I'm going to start collecting these and hang them in my laundry room!:lmao:

Here's one for ya:

My little kitty caught a birdie yesterday! :scared1: We try not to let her outside but she sneaks out when we put the dogs out. She just left the little birdie right in front of the sliding glass door and I found it when I got home. I was like EWW! But I know it's supposed to mean they are leaving you a gift right?
