Good night, G!

There you are!! Yes, I have pics in front of it too... Cant wait to be back for it again this year!!

I know! I told DS3 that it's only 3 weeks away now, we were both so excited! :yay:

I just told Alex's school today, and his teacher asked if she could come too!:lmao: We are very excited!! And by we, I mean me. :lmao: Alex doesnt understand how soon we are leaving, Mikalah doesnt get it hardly at all, and DH generally doesnt get excited til things happen. ie, when we got married, he was cool as a cucumber til the day of, and he just about blew chunks! He shows NO emotion about any vaca., til the night before we leave... Then he doesnt sleep a wink the night before, and is bouncing off the walls right before we leave!:lmao: :lmao:

He is supposed to take a nap before we leave... I told him there is NO way he is going to sleep that morning!:lmao:

:rotfl2:

So if he's up all day and all night, what's the first day of vacation like? Does he nap with Mikalah?

Yes.. Staying up 24 hours isnt that big of a deal to him, he does it quite often,,, But as he gets older..:sad2: Well.. its harder for him. But I try to make him nap with the baby. I usually try to plan our trip so he has a few days off before we go, to re acclimate his body to our schedule. I had this trip done that way, til he change the whole deal on me!!:sad2: But if he doesnt sleep in the morning, I can drive the whole way down to the Redwoods... :thumbsup2

Wow, that's gotta be rough. I remember in college pulling a few all-nighters. Well, trying to anyway. I did not know you really can fall asleep with your eyes open. It's really weird, your brain just shuts down, you blink, and a couple hours have passed. Creepy!

DH wakes up instantly alert, and frequently is interrupted in sleep for work related stuff. It's really taking a toll on his body as he ages. :(

Yeah, it is rough! I wonder how long he is going to be able to keep it up. I have noticed over the past couple of years how much harder it is on him. Just the night shift is beating him down.. not to mention the 7 days a week, and when he works 12's... Forget about it!:sad2: I wish he could get on days... But at the same time it is very convenient, we make do with one car, and he is home during the day.... should anything happen.

Good morning, hyenas!
Overcast, gray, blah blah blah. Same ol', same ol'.

DS7 is happy because Daddy is home for the day, and walked him to school this morning. DS3 was most unhappy because he got undressed when Daddy stepped into the shower, thinking he could just pop in there with him. (He loves to shower, but we have to bathe him less often because of his eczema.) Mama said no, Daddy said no, then he tried to sneak in and it didn't work, so big fat tears and loud howling. (Dang, he's persistent!)

But Daddy wrestled with him a bit now and sneakily got him dressed while he did it, so now he's back to his usual bouncy self. And we're off to get some nectar of the gods! (Starbucks, to those of you out of the loop...)

Wishing you all a fantastic Friday! :dance3:

I made my own "necter from the gods".
Organic Tierra Del Sol coffee pods from Target/Archer Farms brand, did the small cup button on my Senseo.
Zapped some milk until it was scalding hot and foamy.
Dash of vanilla, dash of cinnamon, turbinado sugar ("sugar in the raw", has a nice flavor and I don't get as sugar highed from it).
Had to add some hershey syrup.. too much cinnamon, bleh.
And a shot of whipped cream (freebie with coupons).

mmmmmm

and cheap too!
******************************************************

Very cool morning, heard the birdies singing and decided I needed to join them.
Took a walk down thru the shopping plaza.

I have a chinese restaurant there.. ohhhhh didn't know that before.. and it's cheap!.
The christian book store moved.. ohhhh that's where it went, I thought they closed.
And oggled the darling handmade dresses in the seamstress window for $35 each; pretty princess/ballet pink, snow white, cinderella.. they are GORGEOUS boutique style. Could easily be $100's each!

Then took the long way back up the hill...... owwwwwwwwwwww.. that made my calves hurt, but at least it was shadier and I could see birds and hawks on the mountain.

Got mail from yesterday .. oh dear!
Bill from ambulance.:guilty:

Do you know they charge extra for night time runs?

$1,353

Not sure what Medicare covers.
With that bill, emergency room and dialysis care... it's not going to be pretty.
I'm going to ask hubby to check into Medical aid as disabled working person.. they should go back three months and cover all the copays.
Technically he's still disabled until his trail work period is over.

ok, looked up Medicare coverage.. we have to pay 20% of the approved Medicare cost.

In toher words, we gotta wait for them to hash it out with Medicare.

I give up not going to catch up - what did I miss???

awww no fair, you gotta go back and search..

OK, I joke with you .. ummm not much.
We had a crazy afternoon yesterday with Andrea her usual zinging self.. it was nice to see.

We had a few banters about happy cows VS anorexic cows.

A few walks down memory lane.. I reposted some things from the beginnng of the thread.. that was fun!

Andrea's daughter will be going with grandma to WDW, Andrea was sad about it since she won't eb the one to introduce her to the park.

I made Andrea cry by mentioning the show stop version of Welcome.

And now I'm crabbing about paying for medical bills (after Medicare pays their share).

So what's new with you ?

Are you going in October?
Found a solution to your living arrangement concerns?
Working a ton of hours??
