J wears his glasses all the time, he was so funny when he told us he couldn't see.
completely out of the blue....

"How do you get glasses?"

huh? What kind of glasses? sunglasses?

"No, glass glasses"

what???

"Glasses so you can see"

oh, you go to the optometrist and get them, I don't understand why you're asking?

"Because I need glasses"

you do?

"I can't see the board"

 ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, ok.

:rotfl2:

At least that's better than when I needed glasses. I was playing Little League baseball. It was our first game and we were outfield warming up. My cousin threw a fluorescent green softball at me and I held my mitt out to the side and let it hit me right in the nose. I passed out and they had to take me to the hospital. I ended up having surgery on my nose because of it about 10 years later. Come to find out I'm nearly blind!:lmao: I'm nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other. I see fine as long as both eyes are open and things are not coming at me fast. If you throw something at me at about 30 feet out it disappears and I can't see it until it hits me!:scared1:

My old account kept asking me "what was your favorite restaurant in college?" as an additional security question.

I couldn't remember what I set it at!! It popped up everytime I tried to log in, and I couldn't figure out thow to change the security questions.

I would type in a guess, and then get a new question.. ohhh good I remember that one!

I answer all security questions with the same answer: "I dont know". Then that way you never forget the answer, plus if you have to call them because you can't log on and they ask the password, all you have to say is I dont know! :thumbsup2

My sis and I are both near sighted. However, she finds she no longer needs her glasses.. found out from an opthamologist that as we age our eyes get flatter.. hence becoming far sighted.

yeah.. how fun. Bifoculs are in my future.

Is that spelled right??
bi-focol?
bi-focul?

still looks wrong.:confused3

That's not a good idea. I think hubby does the same for his email accounts.

And why does my post have a caution sign??? I don't remember clicking that..

Now I'm imagining Chernabog kicking (Lynn's) Mickey's butt.... listening to Night on Bald Mountain.

And (Lynn's) Mickey is beating him back.

Perhaps you need BIFOCALS:lmao:

I don't use that as a password, I have my SECRET word!!!! However, when they ask all those stupid security questions I usually put I dont know.

When DH and I first got married we both banked at the same credit union. We combined our accounts. But they decided to keep mine open because it was easier since I had direct deposit on my paycheck and he didn't. They always ask your mother's maiden name for verification. He didn't know my mother's maiden name and stood there arguing with them about his mother's maiden name!:lmao: Finally he talked with our neighbor lady (who worked at the bank) and could verify who he was. He now knows my mother's maiden name!:thumbsup2

That's cute.

My brother and his soon to be ex wife had an acocunt at the same bank as my parents. DB is a junior....

Well , when it came time to apply for a home loan the bank pulled up all this old stuff, DB was all confused.. that's not mine!

Found out the bank had listed my mom married to my DB AND to my dad and DB's "soon to be" ex wife simply did not exist.

In retrospect.. my brother is probabaly wishing "soon to be" ex didn't exist now.
:sad2:

She's pure evil.

Looks like I have to call one of our new night auditors. I'm working on the daily accounting reports right now. There is no way you can have more than 100% occupancy. If you have 100 rooms, you can only rent 100 rooms! There is no way you can rent 102 rooms and have 102% occupancy!!!!!

Now you can rent a room more than once per day. Say if someone stops by for a quickie, then checks out before evening!;) However, you only count that room once, it's either occupied or not occupied. Your average daily rate is then higher. If you rent a room for $100 twice, then your daily rate for that room is $200!:thumbsup2

By the way, being in the hotel business it is always amazing to me how many people will rent a room for the night and then check out after an hour or so. We have expensive rooms and you think it only happens in the movies, but it actually happens quite often!

LOL, Friday just means i have to go to work... BOOOOOOO! :P

Friday means it's almost the weekend!

i have to cooooooook... LUNCH!!!!!! :)

I don't cook...I usually bring leftovers from the night before's dinner to work for lunch. DBF does the cooking. I can't even make Rice A Roni!

oh sure, Staley and Albort pop in while I decide to play Holly Homemaker.:headache:
Made my bed, set dinner to cook in the crockpot, pulled out some frozen over ripe bananas to make into something (bread or muffins? hmmm can't decide), vacuumed the apartment (even pulled the cushions off to get the crumbs, darn no money in there).

Now I'm listening to Cha Cha Slide.. why?? no idea.

Get funky ya all!
right foot, left foot ya all, cha cha real smooth, turn it out.

reverse, reverse, slide to left, slide to the right. reverse reverse. cha cha ya all, cha cha again.....

I think I heard that at a wedding .

My brother has the same name as my step dad. I know they are supposed to run your credit on your SS number, but their stuff gets intertwined all the time. My mom didn't name him Junior, because it reminded her on Junior Sample Sales on Hee Haw!:lmao: So instead he has II on his birth certificate.

One time he went to buy a car when he was about 19 and the bank told him he didn't make enough to pay all his othe loans. They had listed my parent's home mortgage, business loan and line of credit on his name!:scared1: It took him quite some talking to convince him that he didn't take out a $100,000 business loan when he was 6 years old!:lmao:

what kind of hotel do you work at?!

just kidding!

oh man... went to grab something to eat, found the bananas I pulled out of the freezer.. forgot to put them in a bowl.. ewww banana juice slime!
I squeezed them out of thier peels into a bowl, now they like like albino worms. :rolleyes1

I vaguely remember Hee Haw..but not Junior Sample Sales. I think I was too young at the time.... shhhh stop showing your age!!
The 20 something voltures will descend upon us

Is it really bad if you know all the words to the fireworks music???

When they had Believe fireworks raunning, I bought the CD and played it over and over until our next trip. I can even remember at what point Tinkerbell flew across and the sequence of fireworks pictured in my head.. yeah, it's like a disease.. but I don't want the cure ;)

hope not...cuz I do and I know all of Fantasmic too including Mickeys routine::yes::

That is precisely the reason I keep dragging DD into the kitchen to help me cook dinner. She needs to learn how to cook. I think for so long parents concentrated on the school work, that we forgot to teach our kids how to wash clothes, run a vacuum, cook dinner, peel a potato and balance a checkbook. When DS is a teenager I will also make him help cook. Geez, aren't I a fun mom!:lmao:

Nice hotels, our rates right now range from $89-$350 a night. Apparently some people are willing to pay the price!

Now here's a question for you? How do you know what an Albino Worm looks like?? Just curious....:confused3 :rotfl2:
