LOL!! I have one for my PS2. I bought a dance pad from Red Octane's website. They make the best ones that don't slide or break easily. My dad bought my little sister a metal dance pad (like in the arcade) last year. She's afraid to use it because it might scratch up their new wood flooring. We need to find some sort of mat to put under it.

Yes, it does make you sweat from all that jumping around!! :faint:

They are coming out with DDR for the Wii. I think it comes out soon. It comes with the game and a dance pad.

I want to say.. October??

We finally have a first floor apartment, N is looking forward to having DDR!!

Keeping an eye out for a used game.

okay.... Alex told me that he was on the playground, and a big kid came over to him, picked him up, and held him upside down... ***????? :confused3 They were playing a game, and it was part of the game, and he was gentle about it, but still!! How big WAS that kid!!!

Okay, I really have to go, time to pick him up... I promised him Ice Cream after school!:thumbsup2

At first I thought this was going to be a bullying kind of thing, but thankfully not. DS and his friends were picked on by an older bully when they were in K. I didn't even know about it until one of the other moms mentioned it to me; her son had told her, and named the boys that got picked on, and DS was one of them. I asked DS about it and he played it off like it was no big deal: Well, he tried to punch me, but I was too fast and ran away.

So I told the teacher about it; he said he was already aware of it, and the boy had already been dealt with. So by the time I knew about it, it was already over. I was glad they took such swift action, but still, it had gone on for several days, and it was never mentioned to the parents!

I wanted to know who the little whelp was and have DH give him the evil eye, ya know? :rotfl:

OMG, that brings back memories of apartment living when DH and I first married. We lived in a tiny one-bedroom apartment, and the (newly divorced, mother of 3 little ones) manager lived in the next building.

One hot summer night we were awakened to loud shouts and moaning. I was scared until I realized it was...ummm...not exactly frightened moaning, building to a crescendo: "OG! OG! OG!!!" It was the manager, she'd apparently been out to a bar and picked someone up. So we must have laid there in bed listening forever. It was too hot to close the windows, and it got to the point I nearly went to the window and shouted, "Finish already, will ya?!"

Finally she screamed and it was all over... For about an hour, then it started up again. :headache:

The next morning she waved to us as she, the kiddies and boy-toy went off to church together. :rotfl2:

The next weekend it was a different guy, but he also went off to church with the family the next morning... :confused3

Thankfully we bought a house and moved not too long after that; I really didin't think I could look her in the face again without blushing.

At least she went to church to repent her.. umm... nightly activity.
I know! I just found the whole thing so shocking!

Bring stranger home where you live with your kiddies! Scream and moan loudly while he rocks the world all night long! (Why weren't the kids up all night like we were???) Then pack everyone up and take WonderBoy to church with you! (How did she get these guys to agree to go to church wither her in the morning?) :rotfl2:

Reminds me of our first place, a tiny less than one bedroom. It was an old victorian monster of a house made into a bunch of apartments. We were barely into our twenties. Young and silly in love.

You could hear people talking, moving above and to side of us at various times of day. Very clearly sometimes.

One day we could hear people upstairs.. having some afternoon fun, then we heard the people next door.. same..

hmmmm????

Looked at hubby,he looked at me.... :rolleyes1 heck why not join the party?

And on that note, I must bid adieu. Nearly time to get DS7 from school, and there are a few things I want to get done first.

Have a great afternoon, all! Hopefully the DIS will be cooperating tonight! :)

Yuck! I wonder if that mom popped out more kids after all those one night stands. :scared:
