for dinner and why? We are trying to choose between the two....

Thanks! :)

Ohana!!! Their food is way better. And the dessert .......... omg. I don't even like bread pudding but theirs was out of this world FANTASTIC!

The meats are wonderful, too.

Never been to ohana but hated WC. The food was greasy and I wouldn't recommend going there

I am not a huge fan of Whispering Canyon... just do not like the way they serve the food and the attitude, which I know is part of their routine..

Ohana, I have liked in the past, but lately it has been getting some bad press.... if you choose Ohana and you are not being served properly.....the food not getting to your tables.. make sure you involve management immediately. It is suppose to be all you can eat and plenty of it and if they are not doing that, someone should be made aware of it..

We love both places but would choose 'Ohana. We like the food and atmosphere better at dinner. We would do WC for lunch instead.

WCC because you can choose from a menu. I don't visit places that have such a limited choice of food to choose from. At WCC you can choose the skillet AYCE or you can choose from the menu.

Ohana...we like WCC also, but Ohana food is better IMO. But dont let either one be missed at some time or another. Both are unique in their own right.

Why not do both? If I HAD to chose, I'd probably go with Whispering Canyon. It's a fun experience, and the skillet is GREAT! Ohana to us is very ordinary. They simply give you a ton of average food.

Ohana has a much nicer atmosphere and the food was good the last time we eat there. We had dinner at WC last July and the food was average at best and a very loud dinning room. The food is much better next to Ohana at Kona Cafe. Take a look at Kona's menu before you decide. It's one of our favorites. Enjoy your trip:goodvibes

Many recent reviews of 'Ohana have been bad, but that does not mean that I wouldn't try it. I think we'll go on our next trip just to see how we like it, but right now the hands down winner is Whispering Canyon Cafe. Great food and quick service every time! :)

That is a tough pick. I would go with WCC because you can order from the menu. The skillet was good too. I didn't care for the one side offered at O'Hana although the potatoes were very good. I felt limited because I'm not a big meat eater. However OHana's Lapu Lapu is sooo yummy!!

O'Hana would be my choice. I'm not fond of most of the items on the skillet except the chicken and the ribs. I love most of the food at O'Hana and we always have fun there.

I just read that Ohana got rid of the wontons:headache: I loved those things with the peanut sauce! Does anyone know do they still give you the three sauces and can you ask for the wontons? Thanks! I have never been to WC but am planning on it, but we loved Ohana.

Hands down, without a doubt I would choose Ohana. We ate at both of these restaurants for dinner our last trip which was June 2007. I did not care for Whispering Canyon at all. The food was not very good at all. The restaurant was very cramped and noisy too. Ohana was the best meal we had at Disney. The food was excellect, my favorite was the turkey and the cheesy potatoes. The dessert was to die for too. My kids loved the activities Ohana had to keep them busy. I remember them marching in some kind of parade around the restaurants to polynesian island music. We are coming back to Disney in October and very much look forward to dining at Ohana again.
