So I've taken the ALICE training and after last week's events it left me thinking about exit strategies for several attractions and rides that we were on while at the parks. There were so many times where a clear exit is not marked, which is concerning if there were ever an emergency such as a fire, shooting, bomb, etc. I'm guessing Disney has some sort of evacuation plans, but can someone provide some insight as to how one would exit a ride with no lit exit sign? I'm thinking it would be total pandemonium and envision a trampling situation. I know it's awful to think this way, but in today's day and age it's always good to know where exits are, wherever you are.
Two examples.. we were at the interactive area in Spaceship Earth and no clear marked exits. Also, several dark rides had no lit exit signs, which I'm assuming is a safety issues so people don't jump out of a ride and get hurt, but how would one evacuate if need be?
Not trying to be negative but after everything that went on last week.. it had me thinking about these things and how I would keep my family safe.
