Unlinking a Ticket Without Losing a Reservation

I have a reservation but want to use different tickets than the ones my reservation is linked to. Would it be possible to unlink those tickets and change them to different tickets that expire sooner without losing my reservation? Thank you.

As far as I know, you will lose the reservation and have to rebook it. Not a problem if there are plenty of reservations available (if you are staying onsite, for example, and can draw from the “hotel guest” bucket). The reservation is linked to the actual ticket, not you as the guest.

But if you already have both tickets in your account, make a reservation on the new ticket, then cancel the reservation on the old ticket, to be safe. Just be sure to scan the earlier-expiring ticket (with its reservation attached) at the gate.

It's for this Saturday so no reservations available unfortunately. Thanks for responding. :)

Oh darn!! Maybe a reservation will open up the night before as they often do, then you can add it to earlier-expiring ticket, then drop the other one. I don’t know if the system puts a dropped reservation right back out there, so I would be afraid to drop the one you have first and hope you can pick it up. I will say that sometimes the reservation calendar shows “No reservations” but then when you actually click the date and try to make it, it might go through. Maybe that would work? Pixie dust to you!

Thank you. It's worth a try to see if something opens up. :)
