So, Unleash the Villains was held last September on Friday the 13th in Hollywood Studios, correct? Would they be doing this again on Friday, June 13th or was this a one time only thing?

The event was part of Limited Time Magic so I'd summon a guess of maybe as it was incredibly successful.

I am guessing they will never have this event again, at least not without either studying how to relieve the resulting traffic issues or blocking cast members from attending (since at least 40 percent of the attendees were current Disney cast members, it may not have been as successful as it sounded). Speculation was that it could be resurrected at some point as a hard ticket party.

June 13 is a Star Wars weekend, little to no chance they'll do this too.

I think with the resounding numbers of people interested, it will happen again. It may not happen in July, but I promise someone is on it and as soon as the find a logistical solution you will see more villain events. There is just too much potential to let it go. Maybe they do it at MK or somewhere that make sit a little easier to spread the crowds or maybe it becomes a ticketed event, but rest assured, Disney will find a way.

It was a great idea that was poorly thought out and poorly executed and it affected everyone at every park due to the gridlock on property. Disney just doesn't seem to get that one of the biggest untapped fan bases is VILLAINS!

We got there early knowing what was going to happen crowd-wise but was still surprised at the course it took and Disney being so unprepared. Without a laundry list of what was wrong I'll offer up suggestions:

- LOTS of people love Villains and they are ready to spend the money, tap it! Money in the bank!
- Make it (1) A hard ticketed event in off season much like Princess & Pirate Party was at MK OR (2) Villains Weekends at DHS formatted after Star Wars Weekends in the same Jan/Feb time frame which is "slower". Whichever they pick follow the successful design in place.
- FIX the Meet & Greet and expand it, lots of creative ways to do this.
- PARADE, not a one stage show where thousands will crush in. Then have the themed Dance parties to spread around the crowds. They could even be tied to a Meet & Greet close by.
- They did get the Villains Fireworks right! Repeat!

Without this going into its own thing, the land is there, why not have a Dark Park where no heroes go...

It makes for an interesting market.

We were at the party too. It was madness! I only got one pic (with Radcliff) since I wasn't willing to stand in hours worth of lines for the rare guys. I don't expect Disney will do another event like that one, but I could see them doing a villains party hard ticket at some point. Perhaps next year when the MK construction is officially over. We moved our trip up two weeks just to go to this party (and despite the madness,it was worth it) and we would pay to go to a villains party without a doubt!

All for it! Amp up the attractions. Those going know what it will be. Guarantee it will stay busy all year round! AND I guarantee it would be first choice for corporate private parties! :thumbsup2 Could even be built with that in mind - catering etc.

We changed our trip for it too, made tshirts to wear and wow, never been so disappointed. The CMs working it were clueless as to most questions asked and completely overwhelmed. They deserved combat pay!
