Looks like only AP will be able to go for more than one day
The way I'm reading the fine print each AP can purchase 6 one day tickets but they must be used by the AP holder

I may have misread the website. I only saw the 3-day ticket option, of which one day could be used at Epic.

My mistake!

Q: Is there a one or two-day option for guests wanting to visit Universal Epic Universe?
A:
During this initial phase of Universal Epic Universe-inclusive tickets, we are only offering multi-day tickets for 3-Days or longer that include one-day admission to Universal Epic Universe. Additional product offerings -- including single-day and two-day tickets for Universal Epic Universe -- will be launched at a later date before the park opens.

I guess at least initially it will require a multi-day ticket.

Sigh. Epic universe is going to be crazy crowded due to 1 day tickets. Really hoped they didnt go down this path.
Well, I don't think UO leadership has ever been crowd adverse. At least they're not simply including access to all APs (which I know some were hoping for but really didn't make sense)

That's crazy. They really must be concerned that their other 2 parks will become virtual ghost-towns once Epic opens. The optics would not be good.
They will need to spread the crowds out for sure.
Only offering a one day dated ticket is a reservation system I don't like it but it makes sense to keep some kind of crowd control.
Maybe that's why they are holding off on the multi-day tickets so see what kind of availability is left

I think they’d still be busy. If they had packages with no limitations on what you could do with the tickets I’d still plan a day or two at USO/IoA, probably the ideal would be two days at USO/IoA and two at EU.

All of this is about getting a lot of people spending significant time there but not overloading EU. So now they’ll all be busy.

I wonder if the park will be filled to capacity every day. We have a trip planned July 2025. Not sure if I should buy the pass now or wait until closer to opening. Hoping for a 4 day park to park ticket, understanding that one of the days will be Epic Universe only.

I fully expect it to be slammed everyday for a few years . At capacity every day maybe not but I think if people don’t plan their trip further out it will be hard to get into last min.

I'm excited! Can't wait to see this. USO has moved past WDW in terms of experience. Now they add the third park gate (fourth if you count Volcano Bay, which I do). I'd love to do more than one day, but I get it for now. Besides, the other two parks are so fun, I'll still want to spend a lot of time there.

I emailed my travel agent this morning because we are going late August 2025 and we want park 2 park tickets so we can do USO/IOA on one day (will have express) and Volcano bay the other day. If not, we'll probably split up USO and IOA and get a 4 day park ticket.

Thankfully no kind of reservation is needed for Epic. Wondering how they are going to manage that but I am glad to read that Epic will have the 1 hour early park admission though. We will be there for that, definitely!

I appreciate this announcement as it gives me some clarity about how I'm going to proceed with my AP, which is set to expire at the end of February. While I understand their logic, I wouldn't be taking advantage of their one day, AP ticket offer and will, frankly, be postponing my first visit to Epic.

One thing that I've always enjoyed about Universal is the ability to take things at a reasonable pace, particularly in the heat of the summer. Knowing that I have one day (one very expensive day) to try to see everything stresses me out. It's going to kill me to wait (I've been excitedly watching every detail of the construction), but hey, the park isn't going anywhere.

Without an imminent trip to Epic in my future, I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to renew my AP. I'm hoping that they will have a different ticket structure for Epic in place by December 2025 and I can do one humongous birthday trip then.

You are able to book multiple one day tickets with you AP (6 transactions per AP) and your AP does not need to be valid when you go only when you buy. Technically you could buy Epic tickets next week and let your AP lapse if you only wanted to do Epic and not the OG parks.

I guess I hadn't thought of that angle. I cringe at the thought of what that would cost...

Any guesses how this impacts late May/early June WDW crowds? Takes people away from WDW? Or more people in Orlando so bigger crowds at both?
