Hi
Could i ask some advice for universal please :sunny:
I know it is a way from WDW what i am thinking of doing
Is getting a bus from Pop early morning
Will the bus be early enough to be there for opening time and where to get it from
and as we want to do both universals instead of treking back get a nearby
cheap motel :teeth:
anybody else do this, if so any recommendations
and how safe will i feel coming back late evening being a female with 12 and 13yr olds (who are little) ;)

Hiya,

Both Universal park are worth doing.

Not sure about buses/taxis as always have a car.

May not work out cheaper to stay in a motel, There are none walkable from USF (to my knowledge) so you would still need to get a bus or taxi.

I know lots have people on here have used a pre-bookable transfers to off site parks so hopefully they will respond asap.

As for feeling safe, My first trip I was 23 with a 15 year old girl and NEVER felt threatened at any time anywhere. That been said you should still be carefull.

We stayed at the bottom end of ID 4 or 5 years ago and you could get a bus or trolley (sorry, can't remember which) to catch the WDW transport.
I'm not sure whether this is possible any more but I was thinking you could maybe do it in reverse? :flower:
Taxis were probably the most convenient option at the time, and not too expensive, especially when you take into account parking costs etc.
I'm sure you'll be able to find cheap, overnight, accommodation so have fun
IMHO it's quite an easy walk from the top end/middle of ID, at Skull Kingdom, (where we got off the trolley) to Universal-over a busy dual carriageway(about 15/20 mins with a pushchair) . Guess it depends what time you'd be walking back but, once again, as for feeling safe, I did the trip with a 3 year old and felt fine

Hi, the lynx bus 50 from the ticket and transportation centre, drops you to seaworld, from here take the i-ride to wet'wild, then the lynx 21 all the way inside universal studios. You get on the bus to leave in the same place. If you did'nt want to stay onsite, there are a few cheap hotels scattered around there, but not exetremely close.I've always stayed on i-drive as well as WDW property as a non driver and i use the buses all the time leaving between 8 and 10pm.I am a single mum with 3 kids 12,8 and 6 and we have never felt unsafe.Just take the same precautions as you would at home. :Pinkbounc
It might be an idea to book a night at one of the hotels that pick up from universal up to 2.00am such as the quality inn international.Enjoy your planning/trip.
