Universal -vs- Islands of Adventure?

I was wondering what would be a better park for my 9,13,15 year old kids? We are going back to MGM, MK maybe Epcot, and the kids didnt want to AK again...any suggestions if Universal or Islands would be better for my age group?? Thanks!!

The Studios is my favorite but my kids 10&15 get a big kick out of the thrill rides at IOA.

Do they like roller coasters and water rides or prefer more subdued rides?

I would say IOA a lot more fun although both parks are so close u could try both

You don't say what type of things your children enjoy, but for that age I would say IOA. Heck, I'm a LOT older and I prefer IOA!

Then I say IOA is the way to go. I'm 16 and Universal Studios is my favorite park (not exactly for the RIDES though...). However, when I was 14, I LOVED the thrill rides at IOA, and spent most of my time THERE.

Get a two park pass. That way you will get the best of both! But IOA is my favorite.

If you are staying for more than a few days check out the 14 day Flex ticket, its the best bang for the buck hands down.

I have been park hopping almost every day, IOA would be #1 but since I'm 47 and my son is 9 we do Jimmy Neutron and MIB and then do Spiderman.

BTW its colder than norm now, bring a light jacket and a poncho if you do any raft rides.
