i am thinking of doing a last minute trip. i have a 4 yr old girl and a 6 yr old boy. they have been to disneyworld but the last time was 1 1/2 yrs ago. i dont want to try to do both and we are going on the disney cruise in nov. is there enough for kids this age at universal to make a trip out of? maybe like 5 nights? guess i could do sea world as well.

thanks!!!

If they like rides, then yes. Would you be staying onsite? The hotels and pools are great.

I luv them both; but it's akin to comparing apples & oranges:confused3

IMO 4 & 6 year olds are more Disney material, especially if they haven't visted in several years. It's pricer; MYW base tix would do the trick....still you cannot beat onsite FOTL perc:banana: and the current $85 tix special.

While there is the Disney charactar themeing on DCL (mostly the parties & photo ops, char breakfast on long trip) it is no substitute for a visit to the World.

Just curious, have you polled your kids as to a preference? Either choice will add up to a great trip...good luck.

Universal onsite in the summer is probably preferential to Disney in the summer, since you will have unlimited express line passes which will pretty much eliminate standing in line in the heat.

We're here with our 4 year old son and he's having a blast. Granted, he's all boy and really isn't scared of much, but he's loving every minute of it so far.

I think you'll find plenty to do! I'm a huge fan of Universal and we actually spent three weeks down in Orlando last year and only did Universal. We never got bored. There's lots for kids to do since each park has a kid-themed area. When it comes to everything else, though, it depends on you kid's preferences. Universal does tend to be a little more extreme and "scary" than Disney, so what your kids can and can't do depends on what they can handle. Regardless, you'll have a great time. The Universal resorts are gorgeous and you can't beat the unlimited front of the line access!
