OK, This is probably one of those "duhh" questions. I have my passes for universal. Now do we need to wait until we get to the park to fill in our names and sign them? Do they need to see you sign them? Also, am I right in thinking that when we get there, we just head for the gate. We don't need to stop at the ticket counter for anything. Thanks a lot for your help.

The only passes I've seen that need signing are the Orlando Flextickets.

The tickets have a spot on the front that say first and last name and then under this it says gate signature required. They are multiday tickets we got through AAA.

WE have always signed ours prior to presenting them at the gate, But I think you are supposed to sign them at the gate. But, who wants to walk around with unsigned tickets??!! It has never been a problem for us to have the presigned.

The 5 day tickets also have to be signed. You sign the tickets at home. Then when you get to the gate, they have you sign a paper and compare the signatures on the paper with the ticket. Even little kids are asked to sign if they look to be about age 8 or so.

If you haven't already signed the tickets, they will just have you sign them at the gate. Then everytime you use the tickets, you have to sign again on the paper.

it says gate signature required.

By "gate signature required," they mean that you will be asked to sign the paper everytime you enter at the gates. Think of it like a credit card. You sign your credit card on the back but, everytime you use it, you have to sign the receipt. The clerk is then supposed to compare signatures. In this case, with the tickets, you are signing in on a sheet of paper not a receipt so they can compare signatures to the one on your ticket. This keeps people from transferring tickets.

The AAA 2 day with 3rd day free just came today and they also have the spaces for names and signatures.

How about the regular 2 day/2 park or 3 day/2 park tickets, (without the 3rd day free) - anyone know if they require signatures now?

When we last used the 5 day tickets, we all waited & signed at the turnstyle (gate) and then signed the sign-sheet also. Whatever you are comfortable with is fine, I am sure. I don't know why they are making us sign the AAA passes.

You are right, you can head right to the gate with them.

I still have a 3 day ticket from last year that has one day left on it. When I first used it last year they made me sign it at gate. They also rechecked signature every time I entered.

Thank you for all the info! Sounds like it's fine either way to sign before or at the gate.
