Ok. So the last time I went to Universal-IOA didn't even exist (1994)...it's been a while for me. DH and DS have never been at all. We are going to be at WDW for 5 days and then in the Daytona Beach area for a week after that this year and thought we'd come back into Orlando for one or two day trips to go to IOA and US. I got on the US/IOA web site and it says "Hot Deal" for a $85.99 per person 2 parks for up to 7 days.

Is this really a "hot deal" or is this the usual price? I really don't know anything about US/IOA ticket prices. Is it such a good deal that I should buy them now for our Dec. 2008 trip or is it better to watch and wait?

Help!

No its not a usual price and its a great deal cause the normal for a 2 park 1 day ticket is $82.95 and a 1 day one park is $71.00 and if you can afford to get them now I would cause it could end at anytime and prices may go up if watch and wait.

I also advise you to get them as soon as you can. One day they will just be gone.

we bought ours last Feb for this past Sept. ticket good for 7 days after 1st use.
we went 3 days to Universal/IOA
worked out to be 28.66 per person per day.:thumbsup2

went 1 day to SW for 54.00 per person
went to AK one day. 75.00 per person:scared1: :sad2:

the universal deal is very ,very good.

I have a question too! My mother is in Orlando now and the Liki Tiki Village people asked her to take a tour and if she does she can get 2 "Silver" Tickets to Universal Studios. Does anyone know what that mean? They lady said it was 2 Two Day - Two Park Tickets good for 7 days each. They only want $80 for both of them and I told her if it is really for just 2 One Day Tickets it should be a deal, but she wants to know exactly what she is giving her time up for! Has anyone heard of a "Silver" ticket?

It is a Silver Star and it is a 2 day/2 park with third day free. The 3 days must be used within 6 days after first use. Does she really want to do a timeshare though?

Not really. They are just down in Orlando for 3 weeks so Dad can play golf. Mom doesn't have much to do but sit by the pool during the day so she said she may take some of the tours to get the "free" stuff. They are going back down for one month April 27 to May 24 so its not like they dont have plenty of time to take the tours. She also likes to look at different places to see where she would like to stay next.

Does the Silver Star pass expire? She wants to use it in May when I get to visit.

Typically the tours are in the morning and require both spouses to attend. If she can talk Dad into scheduling a late tee time, it might work out.

anyone have the link for the discounted Universal Ticket/Blue Man group combo? I sat it awhile back and now can't remember where?
