Universal Studios Construction Update - Springfield Simpsons & Potter from 7/9/13

I took a walk around the Studios the other night, and snapped some pics of the construction progress and thought some of you may be interested.

It's really coming along. We just returned from a short visit, and I can't believe the progress (from even a month ago). We rode dragon challenge in ioa and saw the progress on the expansion over there as well. In the few seconds I was in the air, I saw the track and building. Looks very good. Didn't get a chance to go on it again as it was a quick trip and the parks were pretty crowded over the weekend. Thanks for sharing.

HP2 is supposed to open next summer...no date has been announced. Transformers is the biggest addition which opened 6/20. The Simpsons area should be finished sometime this summer but I think they are running a bit behind. Universal will be adding new attractions seemingly every year for the next few. Stay tuned for more!

Yes definitely. With the pace they are on again I would guess a few more weeks for it to finish. It's looking great and it really made a not so interesting part of the park alive. I hit up USF 3 times this week and there was something new done each & every time.
