We (me-42, husband-46,son-13, son-10) went to Universal and stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort from 8/24-8/26. We stayed in tower #3. I had requested #1 w/view of the hulk, but they were doing work on that tower and said that I would hear noise if I went back to the room during the day. I opted for #3. #3 is a good tower though. Near pool, boat and gameroom, which was very important for my sons.
Room was great, check in went smooth. Breakfast on Lobby floor was good for a quick coffee/danish. Grounds at hotel were beautiful and boat to/from the park was quick and on time. Just once it rained and the boats shut down due to lightening. I had to walk back, which was not far, but I got wet!
Weather was hot, hot, hot. Pool was crowded, crowded. So crowded that soo many kids were trying to play pool basketball parents were getting involved yelling at kids who werent sharing the ball enough. That was the only part I can complain about.
