I stopped by Universal Florida yesterday and while killing some time stopped by the wheelchair and ECV rental location for information.

Current prices are $12.00 per day for wheelchairs and $40.00 per day for ECVs. A person must be 18 or older to rent or use an ECV.

They also require a security deposit which can be one of three things:
1. $50.00 Cash.
2. Driver's License or Passport.
3. Impront of your credit card on a form and return the form to you to destroy when you return.

If you want to go between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure let them know and they will escort you and transfer your deposit from one to the other. This means, for example, that if you were in one park in the morning and had a lunch reservation for Emeril's and then wanted to finish the day at the other park this could not be done.

There are rental locations for both ECVs and wheelchairs at both USF and IoA. There is a location outside the parking garages and before the security checkpoint where you can rent wheelchairs but not ECVs. However, if you need an ECV you can "upgrade" for $28.00 inside one of the parks, but you will have to switch back to a wheelchair prior to your departure from the park.

Thanks.
We don't have much info about Universal.
