Universal for non thrill seekers?

I am fine on coasters and usually okay on spinners, but have issues with simulators. I can get through FOP without feeling worse than mildly nauseous, but Forbidden Journey made me feel miserably sick for several hours.

I also remember closing my eyes on Minions - same issue, but not as bad.

If you have had any problems with simulators in the past, I would be cautious. Usually closing your eyes will help, since the issue (for me, anyway) is that the motion you feel is not perfectly in sync with the video you see. But that kind of defeats the point of going on the ride.

Most simulator rides don't agree with me. Soari'in is the main exception. I used to love coasters, but don't enjoy those now unless they are fast and smooth. I could still easily enjoy a day at the Universal/IOA parks, though, mostly focusing on the Harry Potter areas (incredible theming) and Jurassic Park area (my two favorites) plus I could hit a few shows. Overall, though, SeaWorld and the Disney Parks have more for me.

If you are a Harry Potter fan, though, I really recommend checking out the parks sometime even if you aren't a thrill ride / simulator ride person for the incredible theming.

I`m the opposite with Spiderman.

I`m completely fine on it, but Transformers I cannot do now, it`s not as bad as Simpsons for me which I will never, ever go on again, but the way the screen is pixelated on Transformers (according to TM`s) just makes me feels so wonky. But, I`m ok with SM.

One of the reasons I know we always tell folks they have to try for themselves as what makes one ill, might not make everyone else bad.

lol....yep I avoid all teacup spinny type rides.......
The problem with Transformers is not motion sickens it's that the ride physically hurts as it bumps you around and bruises your shoulder and hips. It's not a smooth ride.

It is motion sickness for me from the screen and that`s the only reason I won`t go back on it.

Yes, you do get moved around, of course you do, but never felt it was any worse than others.
