Universal and/or city walk on NYE (capacity/ideas)

Looking for info on NYE Dec 31st at universal. Do the parks reach capacity? If we were to show up at 8, could we get in? Does UO do anything special for NYE? Does Citywalk? We want to spend NYE either in the park or city walk and lookimg for some advice and or ideas on what to do! Thanks!
