Universal Adventures of Dreams AND Magic, and an expanding World!

That pic is amazing of Claire!
Happy belated bday to Skip!

We did the stingray adventure on our cruise. Even grumpy grandpa enjoyed it. You learn the stingray shuffle, and everyone had a blast! is your camera waterproof? YOu will need a waterproof one in there. We took a disposable one with us to use in there.

The stingray excursion is one of the excursions that I thought about but you know where that discussion led. (think Steve Irwin....:sad2:) I can't remember...do you have a waterproof camera? I bought our's on Sam's Club auctions and paid just a little over $100 for it.

What a fantastic photo! I can see why Skip Liked it so much! Your plans look fantastic so far! I am so jealous of the cruise. I need a job that has 6 weeks vacation lol.

Thanks!

I do have a waterproof camera. I bought it before the cruise last year.

I did buy a waterproof camera last year before the cruise...those are the only afternoon pictures I got as the other point shoot was the one I lost the card for. Still mad about that.

I know. I need to win the lottery so I can do everything I want to do.

That picture of Claire is absolutely beautiful!

Thanks so much.

Voted!

It's neck and neck.........

:lmao: Sorry.... couldn't resist......

Jen, it seems like all I do lately is work (its budget time in our City which means extra council meetings at night) and then frantically try to catch up on my favorite trip reports. I looked at the calendar today and realized that my trip is only a week away so tomorrow will be a day of pulling out clothes and bags and cleaning out the car - my son and I are driving, it's a long trip but we are used to them, just wish DH could go; I'd love to try AKL too and Wilderness Lodge, but my sister's DVC are at Old Key West and I'm excited to stay there. We are trying Cape May Buffet, Cafe Napoli and Kona Cafe; I had wanted to have breakfast at the Crystal Palace but when I redid my reservations when DH couldn't go, I lost that one, but I've read good things about Kona.

Ahhhh! I can't wait for Castaway Cay!! :hyper: I am going to go nuts taking pictures!

I will again...since I lost so many last time. it is pretty...and I know it will be a highlight for Claire...and having her cousins with her will make it even better for her.

I voted too!

Thanks!

I totally understand. I have had a lot of stuff going on, which has made my computer time limited.
I hope to get an update on here and on my TR this weekend. I thought I was going to have time today to get at it...but it just didn't work out. Mom invited me to lunch...can't say no to that.
I bet you are so ready for the trip. OKW is beautiful from what I have seen. I can't wait to hear about those ADR's. I'm trying a few of those this time around too....that is, if I don't change anything between now and then. ;)

Day 6 planning ~ Nov.7, Wed.

Today is our day at sea. I haven't had a day at sea with Disney yet, so this should be fun. I have had them when I sailed with NCL years ago, and I liked them, and I'm sure this will just as enjoyable.

I will try to sleep in, but you know how that goes with me...doesn't happen much. Claire, on the otherhand probably will and I'll let her.

I'll probably do some roaming around the ship and then write up some notes. I need to be a bit more diligent with this on this trip because it will be such a long trip, I'm sure I'll forget a lot of things.

I'm sure pool time is going to be a priority for Claire...though I'm also sure that it will be packed this day.

If a good movie is playing, I hope to catch one. We love watching movies and this would be a fun way to spend part of the day.

I also want to try and make a palo brunch reservation for me and my parents.

Which means Claire will be heading off to the Kids club if I get this reservation.

Basically the theme of the day is to take it easy and not rush...will it happen...maybe ?

We'll all eventually meet up for dinner.

We'll have to be packed and set our luggage out this night as well. I'm sure we'll be very sad about this....the good thing is, is that everyone from the family is going to spend at least a couple more days at Disney World. So the trip isn't at an end yet.

Wish I had one of those lounge chairs right now and was relaxing. It's so hot here and we need to have the A/C looked at before it can be used this summer, so I'm sweating it. I think it would be a whole lots more tolerable on the lounge chair on the Dream!

I bet a whole day at sea is fun. A day to really check things out, instaed of being tempted to do other things.

Ahhhhhh, a day at sea! Wonderful! Unfortunately they are usually too short. :rotfl2:

Okay, so here are a few hints .....

Have breakfast at the Royal Palace

sign up for a tasting or two

go to the cooking demonstration

have lunch at the Royal Palace

or have brunch at Palo

enjoy some quiet time on deck 4!

have some coffee at the Cove Cafe

see a movie (and/or the show)

(forgot .... is this your last full day on board? Then the dreaded packing would come in too ;))

Now, did I give you enough ideas on how to spend your day? If not, just give me a shout and I'll give you some more ideas. :rotfl2:
