United and gate check stroller...

I do know that United will allow for me to gate check our stroller, but here is another question. If I bundle it up in a stroller bag (not the red kind but a big black one with just the stroller), will they allow me to gate check it like that?!? Thanks!

Is the black bag astrologer bag? I've never had an issue, I had an umbrella strollers that's brought it's own bag and it was neon green. I mean I would imagine as long as its only the stroller in there you should be fine. I have the red one, only because I have a big jogger stroller & it was the only that fit my big stroller.
