I like to browse for things on ebay when I'm bored. I was just wondering what do other people look for. Some of the odd or unique items.

Myself...
*1920-1960 accessories (purses, luggage, scarves, jewlry)
*Discontinued Disney Poster "Anatomy of an Icon" Anyone selling?
*Comedy/Tragedy stuff

Vintage/antique Catholic items....used in homes, though, more than things used in churches.

A 2000 WDW photo album. I didn't buy one when we were there & realy regret it. I have been checking regularly, one day I will find one. :)

I collect Whirligigs. :D My backyard is activity central on a breezy day. I'm not sure where my fascination with these items came from but I've enjoyed them for as long as I can remember. Currently I have 12 of them and at least 3 were purchased on Ebay.

Interesting side note... I'm not sure if this is true or not but I heard that these were first made by the Amish. Because their children were not allowed to play with toys on Sundays, they made these to keep the kids amused.

Lady and Tramp movie stuff

My mother's wedding crystal: Cambridge Rosepoint, I buy pieces for her gifts

Disney pins

Stuff related to my kid's interests: Disney princess, dinosaur, cub scouts etc

Just on the news, some guy here in Florida is going to "bottle" up some air from Hurricane Frances and put it on Ebay.....it will be interesting to see if it sells. I might have to catch some rain and sell it.

I look for Reba McEntire items and items from Yellowstone.

DIsney Snowglobes, not to buy because they are so $$$ but just to see what mine are worth or what is out there.

Faeries, Fairy , Fairies - I collect them so I like to see what is out there

Amy Brown - She's my favorite fantasy artist

D&D Miniatures - BF collects them, and there are a few he's looking for

Disney World - anything from WDW

Egypt, Egyptian - I am big into Egyptology

Dragons, Unicorns - again, I collect fantasy stuff

Jack Russell Terrier - :teeth:

My deceased aunt's stuff... she was a doll designer and artist for several companies, including Schmid and Lenox. Our family could never really afford to buy her items, though she did gift us with some over the years. Now that she's gone, they show up on Ebay on occasion.

I recently was able to snag a figurine of hers for $4.99 on there! Perfect condition, and sold for lots more than that initially. =)

Now if I could just afford her dolls... usually the people that have those for sale realize their value ;)

I also shopped for dog stuff for Harley for awhile, but now that I got him a fleece sweatshirt (Says STUD on the back), a leather biker jacket, and baseball jersey, I've stopped. FIgure that's enough for now =)

I look for statues from the "Crystals of Zorn" and "Book of Zorn" series. I need one to complete "Crystals" and a couple to complete "Book"

An honest to goodness, real vintage Good Humor truck, circa 1965. Not a model, the real thing! I found one once too, but I didn't have the money they wanted for it! But if I did, it would have been mine! :teeth:

Vintage hats and I don't wear hats! I'm looking for the perfect Mary Poppins hat! :p

Antique metal chocolate molds, especially Easter molds or Santa Claus molds.

Sweater guards.

Vintage Disney's Ferdinad (sp?) the Bull poster, only ever saw one and regret not bidding for it.

Japanese netsuke ... they are little carved figurines, made of ivory, soapstone or wood, that decorate the sash of kimonos.

Sealing wax letter stamps or seals.

Unique, aren't I. ;)

I usually look for Audrey Hepburn memorabilia. I collect almost anything Audrey. :)

I've found hard-to-get books, movies, dolls, and theatre programs among other things.

My son is a big Munster's fan, unfortunately he is NOT the only one! We have to fight to the death for some of this stuf! Whodathunkit????

I look for Scottish Terrier items. Especially cast iron door stops (expensive to ship though), book ends and pins. I also have almost completed an 8 place set of Noritake 'Twas the Night Before Christmas pattern china--yes, it has scotties and Santa Claus on it.

Also some Precious Moments figurines and art supplies (paints, pastels, etc.) and Disney pins. Hubby does Donald Duck stuff (comics, etc.) and used video games.

Ebay rocks!

Vintage/antique Volkswagen Bug items (bought my 1960 bug on ebay too!!).
Old midwifery related items.
Disney stuff (unique older stuff).
Some DVDs that you can't buy anywhere else.
American Indian items.
Sterling Silver jewelry.
Beads.
Guess some of it isn't really unusual.

I look for and sometimes buy old Disney LPs.
Funny thing is, I don't own a record player. I love the artwork though.

I also look at vintage hats. Love them. have a few of my grandmothers that I display.

Anything Disney related, but mostly theme park stuff. Old plates and dishes, stuff they no longer carry in the park stores.
DH thinks I am nuts!
