Unique food at Disneyland vs. Disney World

The chocolate-caramel marshmallow wands are so much better! Soooooo good. They used to have dark chocolate marshmallow wands that were REALLY good but I have seen those in a while.

YES, YES, YES..... Always get a few....yum, yum, yum !! (and also wish for the dark chocolate ones!)

As far as meals….Paradise Garden Grill and the Mediterranean platters. Can't go wrong there! YUM !!

There are so many great suggestions! I'm not embarrassed to admit I created a list (by land) and printed it out to take with me on our trip in two weeks.

If you are from Florida and used to the type of fried chicken that KFC and Publix serve, you may be disappointed by the fried chicken everyone’s suggesting. We live in Florida, we’re WDW passholders, and when we went to Disneyland a few years ago, we had the fried chicken since it comes so highly recommended. We didn’t like it. There was hardly any coating on it and the coating was more grain-y than crunchy, if that makes sense. It was more like a breadcrumb coating instead of fried with chunks of batter sticking out. It was a darker brown and thin, instead of the golden brown color fried chicken down here has. The fried chicken at Knottsberry Farm was excellent though, just as good as Publix.

A lot of people at the Orleans cafe when we were there ordered just pommes frites and Mickey beignets like us. Both are very good and more than enough food to be a meal. Actually, we went close to Halloween and had the pumpkin beignets.

Oh! I almost forgot. The Alfresco Tasting Terrace is a great spot if you want a lighter sit down meal and don't already have reservations somewhere. You walk upstairs and it's sort of hidden out of the way. Often not much of a wait if any, sit down, limited menu but their sausage/arugula flatbread is surprisingly good.

Oh thank you for this one! Just checked it out on Disney Food Blog - it sounds right up our alley, and will likely be our stop before doing the WOC dessert party (if they ever put up a September schedule so we can make reservations lol)
