Unique Baby Girls names??

I think I've read all the pages, and I haven't seen DD's name here. DH and I chose Meredith for her because it was the only name left on the list after all of the "cross offs". I love it because it's a traditional but uncommon name. I haven't run into another Meredith her age. The only ones I know are in their late 20's and early 30's. Her middle name is Anita, after my grandmother.

I'm Kimberly. There were 6 of us in my graduating class of 200, along with as many Jennifer's. However, they are not common names anymore. And, as an adult, I rarely run into another Kim.

I had a friend in college named Shanna (Shan as in Shannon and na as is Nanana). She met one other girl there named Shanna and for each that was the only other time they had met another Shanna.

A name I would have loved for my girls is Leticia (an old family name - unfortunately, my husband nixed that)

I do have my Jaycie though (pronounced like Stacey only with a J - not J.C.)!

:thumbsup2
Sadie
Tara
Cassidy
Kali (Caleigh)
Nora
Trisha
Moria
Annalee

Although I posted earlier, you know what I didn't post? My own name! And I haven't seen it on here in *any* of the posts.

Mary Lou

My grandmother's name was Mary and my mother wanted to name me after her, but add a little something else that wasn't so common. I love my name now, and as you may have guessed my nickname is Lulu. My nephews started calling me that and it caught on.

I love my name and I've only met two other Mary Lou's in my life(both over age 60). Although, I did talk to a third on the DIS!

My name is Eryn Ford. The first thing I get is " As in the truck?" "Do you drive a Ford?". The next thing I get is is that Erin? I am definatly NOT complaining about it! I am so proud to have my name, its only mine!

(Hope you don't mind a story!)
I started planing my daughters name before I even got pregnant. It just kinda poped into my head. So I got pregnant a few months later and of course had to choose a boys name to, just in case. Well, about the 7th month, I heard about a comet that was going by soon. The Hail-Bop it was called. Only every 75 or 80 years it shows up. Mmm, interesting. Well, my daughter showed up at 6:03 am, just as the sun was coming up and shining through the windows. Hailey Dawn. A name that I had decided on over a year earlier. So Hailey now enjoys Papa calling her Hailey-bops and she knows that each of her names has a history of the time of her birth.

My neice is named Brazyl Jasper. I think it's adorable.
Thanks for reading!

unique names not listed...
well mine for instance "Evelyn CoraFaye"
my neices' name is Dakota Jean, but Dakota has started becoming popular.

Evelyn means life, Cora means maiden or little, and Faye means fairy.

since I'm only 4'10 little fairy totally fits. Oh I go by CoraFaye and I love my name. It's fun to watch people's reactions when I say it.
My favorite name of all for a girl is Katelyn, but since so many people out there are using that name I'm going to go with Kate instead.

I've always liked Jakenzie pronounced Ja kenzie not Jake nzie

DH and I are due in October w/ a baby girl.. As of right now, her name is Giavanna Marie.

I really wanted Ava, but it has become really popular with the last few months, and DH doesn't want to name her something that is common..

Carone0318 my name is Kerry as well. I don't see too many girls spell it the same way as we do. I have seen a lot of boys with that name too.
As for a girls name. If I have a girl her name will be Brielle. Love the name.

My daughter is Grace Briella! It took us forever to decide on a middle name, but eventually picked something a little unique because her first name is popular now, and our last name is somewhat common.

Also, someone mentioned Brynna- my sister's name is Sara Brynn and she has always loved it.

I love alot of the classic sounding names that are becoming popular now- like Grace. Here are some of the names of the girls my daughter plays with: Ella, Mia, MaKayla, Hannah, Caitlin, Katelyn, Tessa, Taylor(2 of them), Alyssa(3 of them!), Alexa, Reagan, Bella, Lucy, Layla, Madison, Madelyn, Cierra.

If I have another daughter she will be Maya.

I haven't read all the pages so I don't know if my favorite has been said yet--Marisa. If we ever have a girl (we have 2 wonderful boys), that's what her name will be. I just read that "Nevaeh" has become very popular. That's heaven spelled backwards. My name is uncommon but it's kind of a grandma name--Sylvia. My sister's name is Evelyn which is also uncommon.

I love the names Sylvia and Evelyn - in fact, those were my grandmother's names and I have used them for my children's middle names. DS is Jacob Sylvan (after my g'ma Sylvia) and DD is Sarah Evelyn. :thumbsup2

I have a Cassandra Marie Elaine and Isabella Theresa Maria..

Thankfully my 4th was a boy lol

I tried to think of kind of unusual names for my girls but as soon as you think you have something different you start to hear it everywhere. My first dd has a common name Ashley. With my second I picked a name that was uncommon around here Julianna, I'm starting to hear this a little more now though not in our area. My third is Marinah which I have heard one other time in a store when I was still pregnant but had already decided on the name. The name is more often spelled Marina but I think it looks more femanine with the h on the end. There middle names are Mae, Faith, and Jolie.

My mom's name is Kendall. If I ever have a daughter she'll be named for my mom. I love the fact that she'll probably be the only one in her class, yet it's easy to spell, easy to pronounce etc . . . I know I could use Kendall for a boy, but somehow naming my son for Grandma doesn't seem right. :confused3

Other "uncommon" names I like include Adrianna, Genevieve, Amelia, Natalia, Daria, Sonya, Ayanna and Miriam.

My 1 year old DD's name is GENAVIEVE!!!!!!!!

My name is Kim, too! However, it's NOT Kimberly...it's just plain KIM. (I never met another Kim who wasn't KIMBERLY! My mom kept it simple... :thumbsup2 )

My three girls have slightly unique names, although are becoming a bit more popular.... Chloe, Chelsea and Caitlin.

My DGrD is named Olivia Jasmine ( of course she was a WDW "souvenir") we were visiting with our DD & DSiL in 2001 and 9months later... :goodvibes
Don't see too many Olivia's around

Great Names!

My DD10 is Eston Louise , she is named after the very small town where my husband's family originates.

DD3 is Thea (thay-ah) Cabri ( Cabri is an even smaller town south of Eston). Thea is named after my mom.

Coool names.

Our DD2 is named Ella Rose and our son, who is 2 months old, is named Jack Phillip.

If we have another DD in the future I would love her to be called Freya Lily (lol eee listen to me already thinking about a 3rd child so soon)
