Unfortunate last names

This won't mean much to people that aren't local - but our last name is Druckenmiller - and we're from the same area as the infamous ex-NFL football player Jim Druckenmiller (no relation that we know of)- when he was going through his criminal phase EVERYONE had a comment about it. I started telling people he was my spouse just to shut them up!

Google the meaning of "santorum" as in rick santorum whos running for president, poor guy will never win!

This thread reminded of a story I heard awhile back on the radio. There was a candidate in Chicago, I think, whose name was Rich Whitney. . .but his name got misspelled on the ballot as Rich Whitey. :scared1:

My kids' orthodontist's name is Dr. Hurt. He's turned his last name into a positive though. At the end of his radio ads he says, it's just his name and not his intention.

Know a chiropractor and his name is Dr. Rub

One of my senior residents was Dr. Payne.

Since he was a pediatrician, when parents would tell their kids that "Dr. Payne" was going to see them, they really freaked . . . :scared1:

There *was* nothing wrong with it... until I was about twelve years old and that no-talent *** clown became famous and started winning Grammys.

:rotfl:

My FAVORITE line out of that whole movie.

I went to school with a lovely young Asian man named Dung Phuc. Not an easy life. :)

My son had a 7th grade teacher with the name Ms. Cox. Could you imagine the torture this woman went through on a daily basis with all those boys. Oy.

Cox is a common surname around here. People really don't think twice about it. But I can see why they would@

This all reminds me of a boy I knew in middle school with the last name
"Gaylord"

Kids tried making fun of him, but he was very proud of his last name :thumbsup2

I went to hs with a girl named Brooke Lynn Tunnel. I couldn't believe her parents did that to her.

I saw a gravestone in springfield, Missouri That had on it Ima Dimple.

then there is the story of the gov. of Texas who named his daughter Ima Hogg

Well, start that Rep. Wiener , although not THAT horrible a name at birth, considering, well...anyway

I knew a woman names Virginia who married a guy named Hamm.

Then there was Candi Barr.

The guy we bought our computer systems from where I used to work was named Bo Ring.

As for initials, my mom used to say that she was S.A.D. from the day she got married and my brother was B.A.D. from the day he was born.

I was a supervisor at a hotel as a front desk clerk. I checked a man in with the last name "Massengill" Awkward.:rolleyes1

My mom went to school with a lady with the last name Crotchfelt.

There was a doctor in town with the last name Gross, but he changed his name to Ross when his kids started school. I guess he was afraid they would be tormented in school.

Pensacola has an OB named Dr. Bush. I can't help but laugh at that. When I was young I knew a guy with the last name Stoolfire. People would call him sh** hot.
